The biggest holiday in the world, celebrated worldwide. This weeklong festival ushers in the New Year and LUCKYRICE will bring the festivities to China Blue, Tribeca’s newest upscale Shanghai restaurant. We'll have DIY stations for guests to make their own Asian-inspired cocktails along with festive Shanghai-electric pop music, dragon dances, sparklers and good luck surprises.

NEW YORK Quarterly Pop-up Festivities Ramen Slurpfest Monday, March 17, 2014 | Soho House | 150 guests Session 1: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.; Session 2: 8:00 – 9:30 p.m. | $100

Taking our cue from the ubiquitous and traditional ramen shops found across Japan where diners slurp their noodles in an average of 13 minutes, our event will teach guests the way to slurp this popular, everyday Japanese meal in a similar fashion - with gusto and speed. However, rather than a singular bowl, guests will taste 10 different regional styles of ramen such as Sapporo Miso, Tokyo Shoyu, Hokkaido, and Mazemen (brothless). Guests will rotate to different tasting bars every 10 minutes to sample dishes concocted by chefs of New York's "must-try" ramen shops. Think of it as speed dating, ramen style!

Also known as the Harvest Moon Festival, our festivity celebrates universality as experienced through the moon.
