Dear Partners & Friends: The NY & NJ Minority Supplier Development Council and its Board of Directors are proud to welcome you to our 2014 Business Opportunity Expo at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ! This annual two-day event brings together thousands of certified minority-owned business enterprises to showcase their products and services to our member corporations and Expo attendees. And every year, the Expo increases opportunities for members to identify new qualified, capable minority-owned firms to enhance their supplier base. This year, we anticipate another amazing turn-out and look forward to the countless business connections that will be made in just a short period of time. This year’s theme, Together Forward: Accelerating Relationships for Business Growth, explores the importance of building professional relationships—not only with customers, but vendors, employees and even competitors—which lead to successful business results. Our Mission is to Certify, Connect, Develop and Advocate and through this business expo we get to deliver on the work from the team. As part of the Expo, attendees will engage in relevant workshops, seminars and networking opportunities with some of America’s top corporations and minority businesses. We are also proud to offer our members the opportunity to participate in a Business Matchmaking session -- an invaluable event that allows them to network and develop new business opportunities with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. This event is just one more example of how the NY & NJ Minority Supplier Development Council helps minority business owners forge powerful relationships and ultimately be awarded contracts that will grow their businesses. We encourage everyone to take advantage of all that the 2014 Expo has to offer, including the myriad of networking and professional enrichment opportunities. This Expo provides relevant business development assistance coupled with the access to capital that will empower our minority business community to continue to grow, thrive and influence the American economy! Sincerely, Jeannie Maddox Board of Directors, ChairNY & NJ Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc.

Hello Everybody!
I would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to the New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council’s 2014 Business Opportunity Expo. This year’s theme is Together-Forward: Accelerating Relationships for Business Growth, which emphasizes the importance of collaboration in the highly diverse business landscape of the United States.
The Council Expo provides an excellent opportunity for all of us to learn, grow and share our expertise with each other. The minority-owned businesses also get a chance to network and learn from member corporations on how to successfully execute complex business practices that drive sustainability and productivity. These two days of networking also help MBEs align their goals and strategies with those of corporate America.
Because of our exposure to the NMSDC and its member corporations Rangam Consultants Inc. has become an award winning company that is recognized for its achievements in sustainability, innovation and service excellence. As an organization we like to take on the challenges of partnering with multi-national corporations. We align not only our business processes but also our initiatives with some of the best companies and organizations. Rangam Consultants was honored to be a recipient of the NMSDC’s Evolve Award which is given to companies because of their effectiveness, value or relevancy. Taking on challenges and winning awards such as these bring MBEs more recognition. Having been a member of the New York & New Jersey Minority Supplier Development Council for many years, it is a matter of immense pride for me to be this year’s MBE, Co-Chair. I thank the members of the Council, the committee representatives, volunteers and sponsors whose hard work and commitment have brought forth and sustained this wonderful event.
I encourage each of you to visit all the booths and explore The Council’s resourceful network of MBEs and member corporations. This is a valuable opportunity for you to create opportunities.
