PORTABLE BACKSTOP ACCESSORIES

Expansion Anchor

The industry’s favorite. Ideal where there is at least 6” of con-crete. Expansion shield provides super holding power. Anchor is 1½” diameter minimizing metal surface on gym floor. Top portion of anchor may be removed for cleaning and washers may be added or removed to keep surface of anchor flush with floor.

Thin Concrete Anchor

Designed for maximum holding power through thin channel lock wood or synthetic floors into con-crete sub-floors of minimal thick-ness. Four double acting expan-sion anchors provide an ultimate pull-out load of 8,200 pounds when properly installed. Top plate is 3½” diameter and is polished and chrome plated.

Cast-In-Slab Anchor

Designed for use in synthetic floors or wood and channel lock type floors not exceeding 1¼” in total floor thickness above con-crete sub floor.

Dual-Core Spring Kits

Extra spring sets when adding a shot clock or for replacement.

Sleeper Anchor

Designed for use in sleeper floors where anchorage into both con-crete slab and wood floor is desir-able. Top plate is 3½” diameter and is threaded to provide adjustment to floor surface.

Floating Floor Type Anchor

Two part system to allow movement and expansion of wood floor where flooring does not exceed 3 7/8" total thick-ness. Portable Floor Type Anchor

Designed specifically for installation on a professional type portable wood floor-ing system. Simply roll the transport cart into position at one end of the floor and lock the non-marking 6” diameter swivel casters in place. Wall Mount ChecklistSome tips and tricks for what you need to know when ordering your Porter wall mounted backstops!

1) Select a Wall Mount folding type: Stationary, Up-Fold, or Side-Fold.

1) Verify you have adequate, unobstructed and flat wall surface for mounting type and size of structure selected above.(There is a minimum 20% restocking fee for system plus freight on all returned structures).

3) Verify the installation wall is capable of handling the weight of the backstop plus additional loads from players.Stud walls and other similar structures may required additional support. Caution: Wall structure purchaser assumes mounting liability.

4) Give consideration to who will install your wall mount system and their credentials: Qualified, Licensed, Insured.

5) Is a height adjuster necessary?Height adjusters can NOT be added after backstop is installed.

6) Measure the distance from the installation wall to the front face of the backboard (face of bank). It should fall into one of these groups (+/- 6”): 1’-4’, 4’-6’, 6’-9’, 9’-12’.

7) Select backboard style: Rectangular Glass (with or without pad), Rectangular Fiberglass, Fan Fiberglass.

8) Select a rim style: Torq-Flex, Powr-Flex.

9) For folding Backstops, choose: Manual or Electric Winch.

Column Mount SystemDesigned for mounting a fan-shaped backboard and goal to an exposed straight or sloped column (maximum flange width of 15”). Center-Strut® direct goal mount design eliminates any strain on the backboard during aggressive play. Unit includes extension frame with special attachment assemblies and mounting hardware only. Specify fan backboard and goal separately. Available with Center-Strut® manual height adjustment feature which allows goal height settings from 8’-10’. We recommend column pad-ding for player safety.

Outdoor Wall Mount SystemFully welded heavy-duty steel frame is galvanized after fabri-cation for a finish that’s durable enough to last a lifetime! Electric Winch

The (No. 706) ½ HP and the (No. 707) ¾ HP motors are capacitor type with automatic thermal overload protection and have been manufactured to Porter’s well established re-quirements for quality and safety. Integral up and down limit switches provide automatic operating safety limits. A high strength forged bronze alloy worm gear and a tempered-steel worm gear with precision ball bearings operate in a sealed oil bath providing exceptional dura-bility and maintenance-free operation. The gear housing and grooved cable drum are machined from high-strength ductile iron castings for maximum dependability.

Backstop winches will operate with Porter’s 3-position key switch, Powr-Touch® systems, or SportSonic® II wireless control system.

“I” Beam PadA convenient and safe way to cover exposed columns that may be in-truding into usable gym space. Wall Pad Mounting ClipsAn attractive, convenient alterna-tive to permanently attaching wall pads that will provide your facility with a smooth and neat appear-ance. The Z-Clip is an attachment method that will securely lock wall panels in place using “Z” type clips or channel systems. The Z-Clip at-tachment system allows worn or vandalized pads to be removed for repair or replacement by simply lifting the panel upward or remov-ing the top trim channel.
