WHAT IS prime?

KIM CO (09176317963)JOSH RODRIGUEZ (09178360227)

PRiME is usually known as a whole day seminar catered to high school students with the goal of promoting ME as the course to take once they start their lives in college. This year, along with the seminar, these students will also have the chance to take pride in their school through an innovative case competition, which will apply what they will learn throughout the orientation and the creative and quantitative thinking processes that ME will teach them. PRIME is not only just a seminar reaching out to high school students, but also an event that will mark the continuous growth of the organization. Plus, it’ll give an amazing first impression of ME not just to HS students, but to other

parties affiliated with the project.

MEA Consulting Group (MCG) is the official consul-tancy arm of the Management Engineering Association. Through the execution of live projects from different partner organizations and clients, MCG provides students with an avenue to apply and integrate their different majors, as well as to learn how to make strategic and sustainable business decisions. This year, the focus of MCG will be in the forma-tion of its members. Interactive workshops will be con-ducted to ensure that members are equipped with invalu-able skills and analytical frameworks through training and mentorship with JGSOM faculty. Throughout the course of this yearlong project, the holistic development of the members will be highlighted in each project.

Most members of MEA Consulting Group will initially fall into the category of Ap-plicant. MEAns screened and accepted as Applicants will have to undergo a training pro-gram with JGSOM faculty in order to learn the basic frameworks and get a grasp of the task to be accomplished. Applicants who successfully complete this process will be promoted to Consultants, who will then be deployed as teams and will take on different consulting projects with the mentorship of a faculty member.

MEA Consulting Group is an intensive, yearlong project. As such, much planning, preparation, and deliberation will be needed throughout the year. MCG is thus seeking individuals who can join its Administrative Core. The MCG Administrative Core Team will consist of a human resource manager, a trainings head, a documentations head, and client relations managers. Aside from their individual functions, the AdCore Team mem-bers will also be expected to work with the ABs in making crucial decisions regarding the project. The ABs would like to emphasize that the Core Team positions will be sep-arate from the Consultant positions. This does not prevent the Core Team from doing consulting work, however. If Core Team members wish to do consulting work, they will have to go through the training process like the regular Consultants."

Writer As the life and blood of PubDept, writers will be tasked to create short feature articles, announcements and updates. We’re looking for the most talented and passionate MEAn writers. Don’t worry, we don’t expect 15 page research papers! In fact, succinct and engaging articles are encouraged. It’s all about quality.

Graphics Specialist

Everybody, say hey! The main task of this position is to moderate MEA’s social media platforms. You get to bring these platforms to life by giving them personality. En-gage fellow MEAns in a unique and creative manner while providing a way for MEAns to easily access information.

A picture is worth a 1000 words. Tell a story using graph-ics as a medium. Currently, you will be expected to help manage the PubDept design & layout and help create in-fographics, but we are open to new ideas. Think out of the box! Previous experience is unnecessary but useful.
