1.Wehave createdanOutlookContactListusingyour 2014MSR CampsiteReservaWon Request Form–theperson listedis inoursystem as your unit's 2014 MSR Camp Coordinator. If you received a 2014 camp related email from Debi, she has the correctinformaWon. If you haven’t yet, email it to her. When it's Wme to register online, you will need to create your unit's TREK"conWngent"thenaddthenamesofthoseparWcipaWnginyourspecifictrek.

2.YoumustcreateaMyCouncilAccountatwww.neic.org(ifyouhaven’talready)tocompleteandupdateyouronlineregistraWon(evenoutofcouncilunits). In thetoprightcornerofthehomepage,clickon“Join”.ClickalltypeofemailnoWficaWonsyouwant toreceive,orclicknone.Youcan skip thissecWon,but IrecommendNEICUnitsatleastchoosenewsle[ersfromyourdistrict. Out‐of‐council units:It doesnotaskforunit specificinformaWonwhenyoujoin.NOTE: Makesure touse theemail address listed inourrecords(onyoursiteform,orthatyoualreadyupdated).

3.LogintoMyCouncil andgotoUnit InformaOon (found inthelePcolumnofthehomepage).Type inyourunitnumber(changecouncilname,ifneeded).Ifmorethanoneunithasthesamenumber,allwillbelisted. Chooseyours. Asthecampcoordinator,youhavepermissiontoeditthispageandcangiveotherswithinyourunitpermissiontoo.NEICUnits: Yourscoutmasteralreadydoes.OOCUnits:I’msureyourscoutmasterwouldloveaccess,too!

4. Unit Roster at MyCouncil‐Unit Page. Take Wme now to add informaWon for all scouts and adults in your unit (or see ifyourscoutmasterwantsto.Why?When registraWonopensyoujust needto clickonthenameandall informaWon transferstotheonlineregistraWon. And,thosewithpermissionhaveaccesstothisrosterforallfuture“conOngent”registraOons(itcanbeupdatedasneeded).

5.Online registraOonopensMonday,January6,2014:Detailswillbeemailedbymid‐December,2013to your campcoordinator.OnlineregistraWon forTradiWonalCamp and/orHighAdventureTreksis required.Paperrosterswillnotbeacceptedat thecouncilofficeorcamp(theywillbeavailable,butarefortroop/crewuseonly).

6.Setupdeadlinesfordeposits,camperships*(seebo[omofcalendar),&finalpaymentsthatareearlierthanthecouncil’s.Makesureallparentsandscoutsareinformedofthedeadlines,andsWckwiththemtoensureyourtrekisfinalized.

7.IniOalRegistraOon/DepositDeadlines:February15thorMarch15th,dependingon thetrek.SeethefollowingtrekinformaWonfordetails.Pleaselistalla[endeesasquicklyaspossible,toconfirmyourtreksize.

10.CancelaOonsw/outasubsOtuOon/replacementontheroster:Aheryourunit returnsfromcamp,thefamilyortrekcoordinatorneeds to complete and return a “refund request form” to the council officeno later than August 15,2014. The deposit isnon‐refundable.Westartprocessingrefundsahercampclosesforthesummer.Refundchecksaresent/madepayabletotheunit,notthefamily.PleasemakesureyourscouWngfamiliesknowthispolicyandwheretofindtheform(oraregivenaprintedcopy).

11.May31st,2014–SpecialDietRequestFormdue(ifpossible).SendthemdirectlytoCamp.TheymustarrivethereatleastTWOweeksbeforeyoudo. BACKPACKINGTREKSIceAgeTrail ‐ Hiking Trek: Takeadvantageof anoutstandinghiking trail right inMa‐Ka‐Ja‐Wan’sbackyard. In LangladeCounty,longsegments oftheIceAge Trailenteraregionfulloflakes andbogsformedbythe melWngofthelastglacier.Amidthenorthernforestof spruce, fir,mapleandbirch, thetrailfollowstheglacier's terminalmoraine as itwindsthrough thewoods,justa fewmiles fromcamp.Trekscanbecustomizedfrom3to5 days.Ourtrekis througha 28.5milesecWonwhichwillbetraversedover3or4days.
