Shopping List: Page 3 is a color version of the shopping list. Just print and laminate the color version and place in your dramatic play center on a clipboard with dry erase or Vis-à-vis markers. Your kids will enjoy taking their lists to the dramatic play grocery store to shop for Thanksgiving dinner.
Page 4 is a black and white version of the shopping list. You can print as many copies of the black and white shopping list as you want. Place the copies in your dramatic play center with pencils and markers.
Thanksgiving Food Picture Cards: Pages 5-7 are Thanksgiving food picture cards in color. I have also included 3 blank cards at the end in case your kids would like to write their own words. You can print these cards on cardstock and laminate for durability. Cut out the cards and place them in a pocket chart or on book rings for easy access. Your kids will enjoy “reading” the cards or being inspired to write words.
Guest Place Cards: Page 8 contains four guest place cards. No Thanksgiving feast would be complete without place cards for the guests! Print as many of these cards as you like on cardstock, then laminate for durability. Next, fold the place cards on the dotted line and make them available in your dramatic play center with dry erase or Vis-à-vis markers. Your students will be motivated to write the names of their “guests” on the cards.
Placemat: Page 9 is a printable placemat that you can print on colored construction paper or cardstock. Print as many copies as you like, laminate for durability and place in your dramatic play center. Children will enjoy setting the table for their Thanksgiving feast!
