MATERIALSOur “Keahlian” in rubber comes from over 50 years of experience in rubber manufacturing industry.Kneading the raw materials in our main production plant in Medan and finally turn them into products that serve the global tire needs.

STANDARD RUBBERIs a blend of natural and synthetic rubber compounds providing smooth, quick, and agile handling , guarantees the best road holding and higher breaking performance.

BUTYL RUBBERButyl is a high value polymer particularly well suited for its primary application of air retention in inner tubes. Its unique combination of properties (excellent impermeability, good flex, good weatherability) make it a preferred material for this application. As miles driven, tire size, and market sensitivity to air retention are all increasing, the demand for butyl rubber will continue to grow.

ARAMID FIBERSAramid fibers are a class of heat-resistant and strong synthetic fibers. They are fibers in which the chain molecules are highly oriented along the fiber axis, so the strength of the chemical bond can be exploited. The use of Aramid enhances the tire performances in many aspects : provides extra strength and flexibility , savings in weight provides reduction energy / fuel consumption.

ARAMID BEADAramid tires have got a much lighter rotational weight, so their not just lighter, they let you accelerate faster due to no bead.

FLEXIBLE STEEL BEADFlexible Steel Bead is made of several strands of miniature inside a nylon coating. It combines the softness of the tread with the strength of stainless steel. It’s the most abrasion resistant stringing material that you can use.

Auto Sealant Tube is our latest technology that allows riders to continue their race even after the tire has been punctured by an external object.Auto Sealant Tube symbol will be used to identify all Deli Tire products featuring this new technology.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

1- Inside the tube along the tread area there is a special Sealant Gel.

2- When an external object puncture the tire/tube the Auto Sealant Gel penetrates into the damage area and seal the leak perfectly, thereby preventing loss of pressure which remains unaltered compared to pre-incident.

3- After the extraction of the object the gel will also seal the hole itself without affecting the tire performance. The Auto Sealant Gel deals immediately with the hole and its fast and effective action, in most cases, does not make the rider realize that the tire has been punctured.

MANUFACTUREFROM RUBBER TO TIREDeli Tire is one of the world’s leading tire manufacturer.Starting from blending of raw elastomers , such as natural and synthetic rubbers together with carbon black and silica as reinforcing plus other chemicals which then produce compounds that give tire its best compromised performance on the road.Fabric and steel cords are sandwiched by thin rubber sheets pressed in calendar process. In this phase, body plies and belt package take shape. These form the most important framework that determine tire strength while providing the safety and comfort of ride. Extrusion is another manufacturing phase for components such as tread and sidewall profiles. Rubber compound is fed to the extruder barrel where it goes through heating , blending and pressurizing process then taking shape at the extruder head, before going through the cooling line then spool rolled or cut to specified lengths. Body plies, belt package with other components are assembled on tire building machine which form the so called “green” uncured tire. Green tire is formed and cured in a mold by applying heat and pressure in order to give its final shape, at the same time stimulate the chemical reaction between rubber and other materials. Now the Tire is ready to be independently inspected by Deli Tire technicians and then delivered to clients.

HOW-TO INSTALLYOUR DELI TIRETUBESCarefully inspect the rim. A rim in bad condition, with dents or cracks, can be dangerous.

Inspect the rim band or rim tape. A rim band or tape that is damaged or cracked, torn or frayed should be replaced. A damaged rim band or tape is often the cause of punctures. Make sure the rim band’s hole is centered over the valve hole, and keep the two holes aligned. Also make sure the rim band or tape uniformly covers the spoke holes and has not shifted to expose these often sharp edges. Note: Ultra-light tubes are more susceptible to punctures caused by internal abrasion from a worn or poor fitting rim band or tape due to their thinner wall construction.

Fit the first bead into the rim.

Slightly inflate the tube to give it shape and introduce it into the tire, starting with the valve. Coat the inside of the tire with talc in order to facilitate positioning of the tube inside the tire.

To install the second bead, always start opposite the valve and position the bead in the rim bed. Make sure the bead is working into the drop center of the rim to ease mounting. Finish the tire mounting at the valve.

Note: Starting at the valve restricts the bead from falling into the drop center when finishing mounting, making the job more difficult. Ending at the valve eliminates this issue. This is even more of an issue on tubeless tires due to the larger sealing head of a tubeless valve.

While keeping hold of the valve, push the valve into the rim and pull back to unseat the tube from under the bead in the valve area.

Check around the rim and tire to make sure the tube is not pinched between the bead and the rim. If the tube is pinched, work the tire with your fingers to dislodge the pinched tube or remount more carefully.

Demounting: Entirely deflate the tube and push the valve inside the tire, then work the beads loose from the rim flanges all the way around the rim by pinching the bead area into the drop center of the rim. Introduce two plastic tire levers under one bead of the tire, approximately 10 centimeters away from the valve (on both sides of the valve). Pry the levers at the same time to pass the bead over the rim flange. Finish the operation by hand. Note: Do not slide the tire lever around the rim and the tire to dismount the tire. This could cause damage to the bead of the tire.
