Beduhe Dam in the northern province of Duhok which consist of an dam body using compacted rock fill the following characteristics:

in rock fill dam with the proper calculation of the stability; 15.000 cm of concrete; 28.000 lm of grouting boreholes.

Jali Dam in Erbil district which consist of an embankment dam with the following characteristics:

20 meter height; The upstream slope is covered with a hand placed riprap of 40 cm thickness The downstream slope is covered by coarse gravel and fine cobbles of 40cm thickness to

protect the slope from erosion. The dam consists of a seal core of clayey silt soil; Excavation volume is 40.000 cm; Back filling is 175.000 cm; The clay core is 35.000 cm; The filters are around 11.000 cm.
