GENIUS V IMPLANTSFOR SURGICAL TECHNIQUE WITHOUT DRILLING

IMPLANT WITH INTERNAL CONNECTION EXPANSIVE CORE As a complement to Genius Implant System, Microdent boosts his internal connection implant range, by adding the benefits provided by expansive core, in order to perform minimally invasive surgery, because, depending on bone density and quality, implant can be inserted in narrow ridges by using 1,80 pilot drill and later using the expanders, if necessary.

Surgical protocolImplant fixation, once cortical drilling is made to 5mm maximum depth (drill first mark), should be performed with expander use only to form dimensionally the alveolus into perspective and get an excellent implant primary retention. Genius-V implants are pla-ced with great facilitate in II, III and IV bone types. In I bone type, alveolus preparation can justify 1,80mm drill use at a 3mm drilling depth less than length of implant to be inserted. We recommend using Genius V implants of length greater than 12mm.

Capitel pillar for threaded multiples prosthesis is un abutment which is fi-xed in implant platform forming an only one piece without any movement possibility in rotational way althout repetitive dismantling in prosthesis production tests, Capitel pillars can be exchanged without loosing position reference in impression taking.For placing in the implant, there is a UTSTICP carrier helping to pillar initial thread. Availables in variable hights to make easier gum margin and to calculate sthetic aspect.

Microdent Osscilia set is a overdenture retention system destined to edentulous patient restorations. This system advantages respect to other systems and justified by its design are:

ROTATING MANUAL KEYS OF SURGERY

Used in surgery display the same features than fixed keys but adding a greater comfort in its use, simplifying retentive tighten action.

These manual spanners are used to tighten the retention screws and the other addiments of the prosthesis. They are made of strong very hard wearing stainless steel.

Designed for our torque and ratchet spanners, this connector must be used very carefully because of the free tightening strength capacity.

NON TRAUMATIC EXPANDERS

The non traumatic Microdent expanders developed by Microdent stand for an important technological innovation for oral implantology as a product of global reference and an essential instrument for any professional in implan-tology. This practical and simple bone expansion system avoids surgical trauma and allows an expansion effective measured and progressive con-trol.Microdent expanders have been re-designed replacing colour code plastic ring for other metallic and practical ring which assures more durability. On design level, they have included some modification updating its image.Microdent has on implantology professional disposition two expansion kits: one expanders box containing five expanders and one additional lift, and new complete bone expansion kit, with a new design, with all necessary ad-ditional material and instrument.

Intermediate hazel drill in type bone D-2 have been deleted from the protocol.

Cortical Fix double adjustable action sinus lift makes reference to a new instrument for oral surgery developed and patented by Microdent and destined to increase sinus subantral zone second cortical by slow and controlled compression .Helped by this dispositive they achieve larger implant insertion and, consequently, stability, security and osteointegration condition improve in this zone where bone quality is often precarious. Dispositive original design has a very simple functionality and scarce traumatic incidence because of Cortical Fix self threading in bone insertion, which follows the same protocol as it was an normal im-plant. Moreover, once piston is activated in alveolus where dispositive is fixed, the Cortical Fix body is removed, placing a larger definitive implant, with suitable measures for an excellent primary retention. With Cortical Fix incorporation to Implantologic Surgery, Microdent has pretended:- To enrich upper maxilla bone by compression, therefore we have developed a bone intermediate com-pacter acting previously to dispositive fixation. -To keep threaded body without movement during piston activation, being this condition indispensable to second cortical progressive lift, avoiding sinus perforation because of its slow detachment. Bone lift gain achieved is approximately 4mm. (piston movement)

SPECIAL IMPLANTSPROVISIONAL IMPLANTS PIMplusIMPLANTS FOR ELABORATING PROVISIONAL PROSTHESIS Microdent has added to his implant line oriented to retain the overdentures with independent ball abutements, a new implant design with the peculiarity that the ball pillar forms a one piece with the implant to which the Osscilia retainers are adapted. With diameters for endo-osseo fixing of 2,0 mm and 2,5 mm, the PIMplus implants are indicated to fix in free areas or between definitive implants. They are transmucosal placed with a minimum surgical trauma for patients and it can tolerate easily a provisional prosthesis retained by the spherical shape of the implant.
