IDC housing includes maintenance and municipal taxes but does not include utilities, Internet, etc. For the first year the rental payment begins from the day of checking into the apartment until July 31 of the following year. Every additional year the contract is for 12 months. Students opting to rent master bedrooms with private bathrooms must pay an additional $50 US/month. A $1,200 US security deposit must be made in order to reserve a room.

» A small fee is charged for some RRIS social and cultural events.

» There is an additional $300 US materials fee for students in the School of Communications.

» A $1,000 US tuition down payment must be sent to the IDC Tuition Department as stipulated in your acceptance letter.

» This down payment is the first tuition payment. An acceptance booklet containing details on how to pay the remainder of the tuition will be sent electronically.

» The tuition down payment will be fully refunded for those who choose not to enroll, but their decision must come in writing by July 10, 2015.

» RRIS Need-based Scholarship The school provides scholarships directly to its students based on financial need in return for community service. www.rris.idc.ac.il/scholarships

» FAFSA American students are eligible for Stafford Loans as part of the Direct Loans program. Registration from January 1, 2015 until March 1, 2016 online at www.fafsa.ed.gov Our school code is: G40703.

» masa Students up to the age of thirty-one who have not previously been on a long term program to Israel are eligible for a one-time grant from masa towards tuition. www.masaisrael.org
