Since its launch in 2004, MP & Silva has grown year-on-year and established not only an excellent rights portfolio, but also a track record of innovation, pioneering new sales and distribution strategies that have successfully opened up traditionally difficult challenging markets.

The company currently employs over 80 employees across 18 offices around the world. As the leading agency in international football rights, MP & Silva distributes approximately 3,000 matches annually. We are the largest agency partner for the English Premier League, distributing their rights in over 50 territories, and we hold Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1, and the Scottish Premiership worldwide, in addition to the Spanish La Liga in strategic territories. Our portfolio of other top football media rights includes the FA Cup, Copa America 2015, Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana & Copa do Brazil, Brazilian national league (Brasileirão), Arsenal Football Club and the AC Milan Channel.

Outside of football, MP & Silva has a 10-year deal to represent the French Open at Roland Garros, one of the four tennis grand slams, in its heartland territory of Europe and in a line-up of top ATP World Tour tennis tournaments. We also represent the International Baseball Federation in the sale of the top global events such as the World Baseball Classic and the Premier 12 World Baseball Championships. Our portfolio also includes the FIM Superbike World Championship, FIBA, the European and German handball federations and many more premium sporting events.

The Polish T-Mobile Ekstraklasa

football league is the country’s

primary football competition. It is

contested by 16 clubs, operating a

system of promotion and relegation

with the I Liga. During the course of

the season each club plays the others

twice, once at their home stadium and

once at that of their opponents, for a

total of 30 games (240 games in the

season). From the 2013–14 season

onwards, after the 30th round the

league will be split into ‘champion’ (top

eight teams) and ‘relegation’ (bottom

eight teams) groups. Each team will

play seven more games (1–4 and 9–12

teams will play four times at home),

starting with half the points (rounded

up) achieved during the first phase

of 30 matches. The changes extend

the season to a total of 296 matches

played.

feature 256 games to be played out

over a seventeen week schedule,

which begins on the Thursday night

following Labor Day. Each of the

league’s 32 teams will play a 16-

game schedule with one bye week for

each team scheduled between weeks

four and twelve. The slate will also

feature seventeen games on Monday

night, two of which will be played

at the end of the first week of the

regular season. Additionally, there

will be no Monday Night game at the

end of the final week of the regular

season, the same as in previous

years. There will be games played

The Asian Winter Games will return

to Japan in 2017. The first two Asian

Winter Games were held in Sapporo

in 1986 and 1990. Sapporo is the

picturesque capital of Hokkaido – the

most northerly of Japan’s islands – and

hosted the Winter Olympic Games in

1972. The city of Obihiro will share the

hosting duties with Sapporo in 2017 by
