PROJECT OVERVIEW• Calculations are made using The Rugby Net Ratings Engine, which
consumes match statistics to create performance ratings for each
player in the competition.
• As the competition progresses, player ratings become cumulative,
although past performances degrade over time. Thus,
performances in Round 1 become less valuable that performances
in Round 2, which in turn is less valuable that Round 3, and so on.
• The top 5 players each week, in each position have been plotted,
culminating in a final Top 5 for the tournament.
