Sportourer invents BIOX, our planet says thanks

Thanks to the BIOX philosophy, Sportourer makes an ethical choice; it chooses respect for nature whilst developing eco-responsible solutions that will safeguard our future.

Sportourer has developed BIOX, the first material of its kind that is obtained from castor oil, a natural renewable resource. Castor beans grow in semi-arid or desert areas requiring little water and have low environmental impact. The use of this renewable resource material requires less processing, thereby reducing the amount of energy used during production and reducing CO2 emissions. BIOX is the ethical choice. It respects nature and will help safeguard our future. And from BIOX, Sportourer has created the first ever quality saddle that respects the environment.

Easy Gel Seatcover è il coprisella con cuscinetti in gel siliconico a spessori differenziati, pensato per incrementare ulteriormente il comfort in sella. Il gel siliconico assorbe gli sbalzi e le vibrazioni, garantendo il massimo della comodità. The Easy Gel Seatcover has variable thicknesses silicone gel pads to increase saddle comfort. The silicone gel absorbs jolts and vibrations guaranteeing the maximum comfort. Sportourer suddivide, così, l’offerta di manopole in base alla dimensione delle mani e all’utilizzo della bicicletta. Le manopole taglia S sono indicate per palmi più stretti, le manopole taglia L sono adatte ai palmi più larghi. Nel nuovissimo set, inoltre, le grip si dividono in sport, trekking o city, tre conformazioni diverse che corrispondono alle diverse necessità. Finding and feeling happy with the right handlebar grip is essential for better control of the bike in all types of situations whether it be on a city street or a rough country road. Sportourer divides the range of grips on the basis of the hand dimension and on the type of use to which the bike is put. The size S grips are for narrow palms, the size L are for wider palms. The latest set the grips are also divided into sport, trekking or city categories which have three different forms corresponding to the user’s needs. The design has been developed on the basis of the style and curvature of the handlebars typical of the three categories in order to provide a firmer and more comfortable grip.
