A Letter from Jackie & Vivian

“Girl Scouts are encouraged to welcome all obstacles, as it’s only by meeting with difficulties that you can know how to overcome them.” - Juliette Gordon Low, founder of Girl Scouts.

Juliette knew leadership wasn’t defined by who you are or what you want to be, but by what you do. Every day Girl Scouts lead by creating, solving, building, failing, trying, growing, helping, talking, asking, and doing — just ordinary girls doing extraordinary things! Here at Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana our girls are extraordinary. They are leaders in their schools, churches, and communities. In Girl Scouts leadership isn’t just a label, it’s practiced as an everyday lifestyle.

Our amazing volunteers work tirelessly to bring our mission to life across the Kentuckiana council. Volunteers serve as role models, inspiring our girls to grow into all they can be. Together we are making the world a better place.

Thank you to all that invest your time, talent, and treasures to ensure that Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana can continue to engage more girls. Girl Scouts does more than empower girls – Girl Scouts prepares girls to empower themselves.

Sincerely,

Jacqueline Ford, CEO Vivian Blade, Chair of the Board Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana
