Introducing VariWrap & AutoWrap from TancoWith my personell involvement in farming, contracting and engineering being much of my life experience, Tanco has taken the view that after 25 years of fragmented development, the existing round bale wrapping process needed to be rationalised and made more user friendly, for all stakeholders, but particularly you the customer.

Therefore, Tanco AutoWrap has entirely reimagined & redesigned its round bale wrapping range with the singular goal of simplifying, not only the wrapping process, but every element from product deisgn to service. The result is a consolidated range that has two distinct categories of users. The VariWrap for Professional Contract Customers and the AutoWrap for Individual Farmer / Semi Contractor Customers. The needs of both Customer groups are diff erent, but they have the same requirement for Quality and Reliability.

Within the VariWrap and AutoWrap Ranges there is a further product category the S- Series and the L- Series. The modular nature of the round bale range means that wrappers can be adapted to any users requirements. The S- Series is a direct upgrade to the very popular Tanco 1300 Series and the L- Series is an entirely reimagined approach to handling bales that reduces stresses on the machine and the operator. Furthermore, the model that suited your means may not be the needs of its next owner, if or when you want to replace your wrapper. This means, by simply adding or subtrracting a Modular Kit, a Tanco customers will have greater scope for resale resulting in a greater residual secondhand value in your Wrapper.

Fully Automatic OperationThe AutoWrap Range uses the tried and tested Electro-Hydraulic Control that has been powering the extremely popular 1300 Series. This ensures that reliabiilty and quality are built in. The Hydraulics are now located in the tower for easy access away from debris avoiding damage and contamination.

Direct Wrap Arm Drive The Wrap Arms are now directly driven with a Slew Ring confi guration again ensuring a reliable, smooth and consistent wrapping operation.

Telescopic Cut & StartTanco‘s unique Telescopic Cut & Start is our most reliable and robust to date. The unit extends to three times its closed state and gathers the fi lm into a rope ensuring that it does not tear once the cycle begins again.

RDS Expert Plus ControllerA large read-out display ensures effi cient information feedback and timely data input.

Single DispensersThe AutoWrap is a Single Dispenser Satelite Wrapper with a High Quality Aluminium Dual Stretch Dispenser.

AutoWrap Static Wrapping Static Wrapping is considered to be the most reliable and best method of wrapping, as bales are handled to a minimum after wrapping. The Autowrap S100 Static wrapper ensures that a quality wrap is applied in an even and effi cient manner. The AS100 Static can either be mounted and powered direct from the tractor or operated as a standalone unit, independently powered. The AS100 Static has a remote Control and Drop Mat as standard.

heavy counterweights and structural supports.

The L- Series, with its extendable drive roller, allows the operator to drive forward over the bale. Once the bale is in position the automatic sequence is engaged and the drive roller ‘rolls’ the bale into the wrapping position.

Single Hydraulic Proportional Control Block All functions of the wrapper are controlled through a Single Hydraulic Block, located on top of the tower. The ‘Block’ is easily accessed for maintenance and kept away from debris avoiding damage and contamination. The VariWrap sees the introduction of Proportional Hydraulic Control allows for incremental speed adjustment, ensuring a more smooth and consistent wrapping operation.


Twin or Tri Arm DispensersTwin or Tri Arm Dispensers The VariWrap’s innovative confi guration allows for an interchangeable Twin Arm (V-200) or Tri Arm (V-300) Dispenser. Allowing users can graduate from a Twin Arm to the Tri Arm with a simple kit.

S- SERIESThe VariWrap S-Series is a high performance 3PT Linkage Satellite Wrapper. Mounted either to the rear of the tractor or on the front of a loader allowing the user to wrap-and-stack in the same operation.

Bales are loaded as the Bale is introduced to the Drive Rollers, which then pinch against the bale, lifting the bale into the wrapping position. The VariWrap S-Series is extremely compact and has the option of 2 or 3 wrap arms for unsurpassed output.

L- SERIES OFF-SET

The L- Series is an entirely new wrapping system developed by Tanco to eliminate outdated and costly trailed wrapper techniques. The Tanco L-Series has a major benefi t of being able to convert to a Off -Set Wrapper. The L-Series is lightweight, compact and extremely manoeuvrable. By using the same Load Arm the bale is ‘rolled’ into the wrapping position. The rear drive roller releases the bale, to be either side-tipped or end-tipped. Once the bale is in position the automatic sequence is engaged and the drive roller ‘rolls’ the bale into the wrapping position. Once wrapped the bale is off -loaded to the rear. The result is an extremely effi cient, ma-noeuvrable and easy to use wrapping system.

VARIWRAP FEATURESThe VariWrap & AutoWrap L-Series both have the ability to Off -Set Kits available. The off -Set Kit is simply attached to the L- Series Wrapper allowing the operator to follow the path of the baler resulting in less time spent orienting a trailed wrapper.

The Kit is easily attached and removed again giving total fl exibility depending on the job requirements. Furthermore, if in the event that the wrapper is sold the range of customers is increased as this wrapper is now has the ability to be a ‘Forward-Drive’, 3PT Linkage or Off -Set!

VariWrap Off Set KitThe VariWrap Off -Set Kit is hydraulically driven and is controlled from the RDS Expert Plus Controller. The extendable axle function is engaged once the operator arrives at the fi eld, ensuring that road widths and manoeuvrability are not an issue during transport.

AutoWrap Off Set KitThe AutoWrap Off -Set Kit is an economical iit option. It is not hydraulicaly driven but is easily readied for operation.
