WELCOME

We’re looking forward to seeing you at the IMPACT 2015 Capital Conference, to be held November 3 & 4 at the Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia and the Crystal Tea Room. IMPACT 2015 is presented by The Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Tech-nologies (PACT), the region’s catalyst organization for capital and companies.

IMPACT 2015 will continue to give value and opportunity to a broad constituent base including: entrepreneurs, professional advisors, academics, and a greater spectrum of private equity investors, who fi nance and support the entrepreneurial company’s life-cycle. With specialized panels discussing business models for today’s environment, and our signature Gala Reception, IMPACT 2015 is a must-attend event.

WE ARE PLEASED TO HIGHLIGHT A FEW OF THE EXTRAORDINARY SPEAKERS WHO WILL JOIN US AT IMPACT 2015:

MICHAEL G. RUBIN, Founder and Chief Executive Offi cer, Kynetic, will be participating in our Keynote “Fireside Chat” on Tuesday, November 3rd at 4:30pm. Michael is a renowned e-commerce entrepreneur and Founder of Kynetic, a private company singu-larly focused on building consumer Internet businesses that capitalize on the digital transformation of commerce. Michael is also Executive Chairman at each of Kynetic’s three consumer brands: Fanatics, the world’s leading online retailer of licensed sports merchandise; Rue La La, a leading online private sale destination in the U.S.; and ShopRunner, an innovative members-only service which aggregates shopping benefi ts from the top retailers and brands. Prior to Kynetic, Michael was Founder and CEO of GSI Commerce, Inc., which was acquired by eBay for $2.4 billion in 2011. Michael was responsible for building GSI into a formidable global network of e-commerce, multi-channel and digital marketing businesses servicing 150 of the top 200 Internet retailers. He is also co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Jersey Devils.

Michael will be interviewed by DAVID J. ADELMAN, President & CEO, Campus Apartments and Co-Founder and Chairman, Franklin Square Capital Partners.

CARLI LLOYD, member of US Women’s Soccer and a Gold Medal Winner at this year’s Women’s World Cup, will be delivering the Luncheon Keynote at 11:30am on Wednesday, November 4th. Carli, a professional soccer midfi elder and two-time Olympic gold medalist, has the distinction of scoring the game-winning goals in the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. During the fi nal game of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Lloyd scored a hat trick to help lead the U.S. to a 5-2 win over Japan and capture the World Cup title. Lloyd’s performance earned her the Golden Ball Trophy as best player at the World Cup and the Silver Boot as one of the tournament’s top goal scorers.

Finally, this year’s closing event, THE LION’S DEN, will feature a panel of highly successful entrepreneurs who will be presented with 3-4 investment opportunities from the best of IMPACT’s featured companies.
