Sacred Heart asks for your help

Alumni, current families of SHA, and friends of the school and parish: we are asking your help to build our new campus…and fill it with the things that make a classroom work.

Why?

A number of students’ families have made pledges and contributions to the "Following the Light" capital campaign, for the future home of the Holy Name of Jesus parish and Sacred Heart Academy.

Today’s Contributions

Others have asked "Are there contributions we can make today that can benefit today's campus as well as the future campus?"

The answer: Yes! A sizable portion of the future classroom's costs relate to the things that go inside the rooms: projectors, technology, furniture, and other resources teachers and students rely upon every day.

How?

Through this capital improvement program, you can look over the school's needs and, if you like, make a contribution of time, talent, treasure or services.

Some needs are unique to the current campus, while others involve items which will transfer to the new campus when it is built.

Welcome and Wayfinding

Protecting Our Investments

• In-classroom motion detectors ($800 estimated cost)

• Enhanced classroom door locks ($500 estimated cost)

• Additional security cameras to tie into the existing system ($200 estimated cost)

• Additional outside lighting ($500 estimated cost)

Outside storage

• Add another shed for storage ($2,000 estimated)

Field maintenance.

• Fix the grass in the field. ($10,000 estimated) DONE- Thanks to el Niño

Trees and garden

• Trees overgrown, breaking up sidewalk. $200 estimated trimming costs DONE

Electrical – lights on field

• Electrical on field, needs work.• Work completed January 2015• Additional work needed. All extra electrical work completed December 2015

Bench maintnance

• Fix bench. Tighten all bolts. DONE by school parent and parishioner

Classroom identification

• Room identification for each classroom

Air conditioners evaluation
