    Proudly Announcing the 2015 Cider Swig!General Food Vendor Information

    Location: Sehmel Homestead Park, 10123 78th Ave NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98332

    About: The event is wholly organized through the Greater Gig Harbor Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit community

    foundation, and its Parks & Environment Core Area Board (CAB) in partnership with PenMet Parks. Theafternoon will feature dozens of regional hard ciders in the Cider Garden, activities for kids of all ages in theKids Apple Zone, live entertainment all day on the Cider Swig Stage, and of course food! Admission is FREEfor the general public. Attendance: est. 1,600. This is a rain or shine event.

    Proceeds will go to support the Lu Winsor Memorial Environmental Grants Program. For the past 10 years,the grants program has supported a range of watershed enhancement and restoration activities,environmental conservation and education programs, and a variety of parks related initiatives in the greaterGig Harbor and Key peninsulas.

    Vendor Fees: $150 - Early Bird (application and fees received by June 5, 2015); $200 - Standard (application and feesreceived by June 22, 2015). $250 - Late (application and fee received after June 22, 2015). A $75 RefundableDeposit is required at the time of commitment. Cancellations made prior to June 22 will receive a full refunof fees paid, less $50 deposit. Cancellations made June 22 to July 3 are entitled to 50% of fees paid and forfeitdeposit. All fees and deposits are nonrefundable for cancellations after July 3, 2015.

    VENDOR APPLICATION ACCEPTANCE POLICYConfirmation for the Cider Swig is based on the date and time of

    application submission AND payment. Additionally, we will take your menu into account when we receive your completedapplication. Our goal is to bring local food vendors / food trucks to the forefront in pairings with regional ciders to provide aunique experience for attendees by ensuring variety. While we are unable to guarantee there will not be competing vendors,we will take this consideration very seriously as we receive vendor registrations for the Festival.Food vendors will be limited to no more than six (6) on a first-come basis.

    Cider SwigFood Vendor FAQ’s

    Where do I mail or email my completed vendor form and fees?By mail: Greater Gig Harbor Foundation, 6625 Wagner Way, Suite 150, Gig Harbor, WA 98335 orBy email: [email protected]

    When is set up? Set-up for all vendors will begin at 8:00 a.m. September 26. All set up must be completed by 11:00 a.m.and all vehicles must be removed to the parking area. There will be NO set-up after 11:00 a.m.

    What are the Festival hours? 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Food vendors must be ready to serve the public beginning at12:00 p.m. sharp – and able to serve until 5:00 p.m. No exceptions.

    What is the Food Vendor Fee?$150 - Early Bird (application and all fees paid in full by June 5, 2015)$200 - Standard (application and all fees paid in full by June 22, 2015)

    $250 - Late (application and all fees paid in full after June 22, 2015).

    September 26 th reconciliation 10% of gross sales (less sales tax and $75 refundable deposit) at the end of the day.

    A $75 Refundable Deposit is required at the time of commitment. Cancellations made prior to June 22 will receiva full refund of fee paid, less $50 deposit. Cancellations made June 22 to July 3 are entitled to 50% of fees paid andorfeit deposit. All fees and deposits are nonrefundable for cancellations after July 3, 2015.

    How many workers can I bring in? Each food vendor will receive three passes. If you need more or have a product thatequires more, please contact us.

    To take advantage of the marketing package, payment and business logo must be received by June 19, 2015 .

    How many food vendors will there be? Food vendors will be limited to six (6) and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

    What else do I need to know ? Food vendors will be located in the general admissions area of the festival. Projectedattendance: 1,600. Each food vendor will receive:

    1 vendor spaceone 8’ table for condiments, supplies, etc. and one garbage canPower hook-up (electricity)

    What time is teardown? We expect the festival to be busy with music, eating, and buying continuing until the end.All vendors and events are required to remain open until 5:00 p.m. on event day. There will be NO teardown prior to 5:00p.m.; NO vehicles will be allowed to enter the event area until event closing.
