DJ D. JONES
DJ D. Jones has a passion for creatively mixing and blending Pop, Dance, Hip-Hop, R&B and other eclectic genres that touch, move, encourage and take peoples worries away. His talent and skill set has helped him to develop a reputation for creating unforgettable musical moments at parties, festivals, corporate functions and private events! Music has always spoken to him and he loves sharing what he hears with music lovers and party goers. His love for DJing began at his high school radio station. After high school, he sharpened his radio DJ skills at Kennedy King College & Lewis University. DJ D. Jones interned at the former local radio station known as (WEJM 106 Jamz) and MCA records. After 7 years of working full time in a marketing and promotional capacity for Indy labels in Chicago and founding his own event coordinating/artist booking service known as D. Jones Productions, he left the music scene to pursue a different career. Returning to his true passion for music in 2008 as a professional DJ, he hasn’t looked back. DJ D. Jones plays an average of 90 events each year (102 in 2014) for a diverse group of clients that include international companies like Boeing, Puma and Ecko Clothing. He is a proven DJ & party rocker that brings the club experience to upscale private clients at parties and weddings across the Chicagoland area.
In 2014 he ventured into weddings by creating his signature company Weddings By D. Jones, a company that offers clients an alternative to the standard commercialized, cookie cutter wedding DJs who are often out of touch with modern music styles and lack professional DJ skills. He also continues to contribute to FirstClassJones.com, his inspirational blog featuring motivational photography from around the world.
With dates already booked in all 12 months in 2015, DJ D. Jones is hard at work focusing on delivering quality music experiences that cater to each of his clients.
