Sauvignon Blanc is a white wine that owes much of
its popularity to winemakers in Bordeaux and the
Loire Valley in France. The Sauvignon Blanc taste is
very different to other white wines because of its
green and herbaceous flavours. The name Sauvignon
Blanc means “Wild White” and the grape is related to
Traminer with origins in the south of France.

winemakers for their ingenuity and skill in making
exceptional Sauvignon Blanc wines. Held under the
auspices of the Sauvignon Blanc Interest Group
(SBIG), the competition is independently audited

A wine with ripe pea, fig floral herbaceous flavours on the nose and intense complexed lime, ripe asparagus and peppery notes on the palate. This full bodied, rich style Sauvignon Blanc shows a good balance of the characteristics of two regions which each contributes to the full flavoured wine.
The highly aromatic Sauvignon Blanc bursts with flavours of guava and undertones of asparagus and green pepper. It makes a perfect accompaniment to any seafood and poultry dishes or salads.

A partially barrel fermented wine with a creamy texture and bright tropical fruit on both nose and palate. Crisp acidity and suble minerality to the attraction.
The first impression is of a fresh grassiness. Those herbaceous pyrazine flavour compounds are what make Sauvignon Blanc so compelling – flavours like bell pepper, grass, jalapeno, green fig leaves and gooseberry. The uplifting levity of taste gains in complexity as the riper, more tropical influences rise up through the layers, offering a longer and more vibrant presence on the palate.
The nose is pungent with intense aromas of nettles, cut grass and hint of granny smith apples. The fruit intensity is stunning displaying notes of passion fruit, green figs and even hints of cassis. The mid-palate is rich yet the wine finishes with amazing freshness. Best served cold and drunk as an aperitif or served with fresh summer foods such as wild oysters, asparagus with hollandaise sauce or fresh grilled yellowtail with salsa verde.
On the nose, this wine offers a white floral bouquet accentuated with bursts of orange blossom and kiwi, with a lingering scent of rose petals. A wine of effortless finesse with delightful mineral freshness, elegant fruit concentration and linear acidity.
