 Win a trip to Jerusalem!

The IAC

• The annual International Astronautical Congress (IAC) is the world’s largest astronautics/space engineering conference

• In 2015 it will be held in Jerusalem, Israel from 12 to 16 October

• At the IAC there is a student paper competition with prizes for best papers/presentations in two categories, undergraduate and postgraduate

UK Selection 2015 • The UK selection is being

carried out by the British Interplanetary Society Space Education and Outreach Committee.

• The competition is being launched here today at the UKSEDS conference and will be open for entries until Friday 17 April

• The final selection will take place in London on Saturday 30 May at a joint BIS/UKSEDS event at the BIS HQ in London

To Enter….

• To enter, all that is required is for students to email a one-page abstract to the BIS at:-

[email protected] by the deadline of 17 April.

• Once the abstract has been received, the student supervisor will be emailed to confirm their support for the entry. The format of the abstract should be:-

The Competition

 • Each category winner who

represents the UK in Jerusalem will be awarded a cheque for £300 (both postgraduate and undergraduate) after presenting at the IAC.
