Washington, DC - The National Zoo gets a little bit spookier with the arrival of Night of the Living Zoo - Washington’s beloved Halloween tradition. Adult elixirs, death-defying acts and amazing oddities make Night of the Living Zoo the adult Halloween party you won’t want to miss.
The event will take place on October 30 from 6:30 to 10 pm. Guests will enjoy activities including live music, creepy costume contests, fortune tellers, fire breathers, glow-in-the-dark games, and after hour access to animal exhibits. And with craft beer and food trucks, no creature will go home hungry.
Night of the Living Zoo is a 21 and over only event. Tickets are $20 for Friends of the National Zoo members and $30 for non-members. VIP Tickets are $50 for Friends of the National Zoo members and $85 without membership.
In addition to access to the exclusive VIP lounge, VIP guests will enjoy benefits such as delicious Halloween hors d'oeuvres, animal demonstrations, private tarot card readings, a karaoke DJ and two tickets for adult elixirs.

Since 1958 the Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ) has been providing support to the National Zoological Park. In 1966 that relationship became formalized when Congress and the White House authorized the Smithsonian to contract with FONZ, a nonprofit corporation. Since then FONZ has raised millions of dollars to support the Zoo. Over the last five years, FONZ has raised an average of $3 million a year toward the programs at the Zoo.
