“I was here on the Pre-Foundation and then progressed onto the Art Foundation. I use to

think this college worked us far too hard, but then I received my offers from university and

I realised that I needed to do that to get to university. The best things about CSVPA are the

free printing and the quality of the school. I visited other schools and CSVPA is much better.

The teachers are great. They have really helped me to develop a good portfolio and the fact

we have our own iMac is amazing!”

“If it was not for the teachers at CSVPA I would not have received an offer from Central St Martins. CSVPA have

taught me a lot about different techniques, technique I have not used before. I studied art and design in China but I found it very boring, the teacher tells you what to draw and how to draw it. At CSVPA it is more fun, you have to be much more

artistic and creative in the way you think – it is not about copying!”

“Looking back I realised just how much I had advanced in that year, how much more

I had been exposed to. I came away with skills and knowledge that were so crucial

in my development. Many of those skills I still refer back to on a daily basis.

The course is brilliant because it covers such a wide range of disciplines, it’s quite

unique. You have the opportunity to gain experience in areas that other colleges

simply don’t offer. It was only after leaving Cambridge that I realised how lucky I was

to receive such high levels of support and contact time with tutors.

With the support of CSVPA I was accepted on a very competitive fashion design

course at Kingston.”

“My time at CSVPA was an experience that I needed. I firmly believe that an actor

never completes their training, even if they’ve done a three-year course at drama
