The organization strives to fight issues like hunger and malnutrition in India. By implementing the Mid- Day Meal Scheme in the Government schools and Government aided schools, Akshaya Patra aims not only to fight hunger but also to bring children to school. Since 2000, the organization has worked towards reaching more children with wholesome food on every single school day- over 1.4 million children from 10,661 schools across 10 states in India. Akshaya Patra is continuously leveraging technology to cater to millions of children. Its state-of-the-art kitchens have become a subject of study and they attract curious visitors from around the world. To address the developmental needs of the rural population in India, the organization is now moving towards creating an inclusive village model through – The Mithu Alur Foundation, a new project under the aegis of ADAPT. HPCL is in association with ADAPT since 2011 providing support to persons with disability every year.

Project : Nanhikali Implementing Partner: KCMET

Project Nanhi Kali is executed in partnership with The K. C. Mahindra Education Trust which was founded by the late Mr. K. C. Mahindra in the year 1953, with an objective of promoting literacy and higher learning in the country. It is registered as a public Charitable Trust under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950.

Anand Mahindra is the founder of project Nanhi Kali. Since 2005, Project Nanhi Kali is jointly managed by the K. C. Mahindra Education Trust (KCMET) and Naandi Foundation (an independent and reputed not-for-profit organization) that has an objective of providing 10 years of quality education to girls from economically disadvantaged families.

Nanhi Kali is a sponsorship project that was started by Anand Mahindra in 1996, with the aim of breaking the vicious circle of poverty in India by educating the girl child. In partnership with 21 others NGOs that help the Nanhi Kali project to implement its cause at the grass root level to ensure that the girls receive Academic, Material and Social support. HPCL is associated with KCMET since 2006.

Project : Dhanwantari – Mobile Medical Unit Implementing Partner : Wockhardt Foundation

Wockhardt Foundation is a national, secular, not-for-profit organization engaged in social service and human welfare activities. It has made perceptible change in its areas of operations to the lives of the under privileged.

It aims at operating 1000 Mobile Health Vans in rural India and administering free primary healthcare to 25 million Indians every year. As of date, there are nearly 104 Mobile 1000 Vans operating in 15 states and doing yeoman service to rural India.

Wockhardt Foundaton's other programmes like SHUDHU water purification tablets, Bio Toilet, E-learning, Khel Khel Mein and Wockhardt Health Education Institute have made significant impact and continue to expand their social coverage in areas where the need is the most.

The objective of the HPCL-MMU programme is to ensure improved Health services reaching the door steps of people residing in unserved or under served remote areas.

Project : Dil Without Bill Implementing Partner : Sathya Sai Heart Hospital, Rajkot

Project Dil without Bill is executed in partnership with Sathya Sai Heart Hospital, Rajkot since 2011. This hospital works on the principle of Shri Sathya Sai Baba with a passion to serve humanity by providing free heart surgeries and treatment related to heart problems. This Hospital is managed on a non-commercial basis. This hospital is managed by Prashanti Medical Services and Research Foundation, a Charitable Trust based at Rajkot.

In a spirit of dedication to Sathya Saibaba, Doctors, Nurses, Technicians and Administrators adopt a value based approach towards patients. Many Cardiac Surgeons, Cardiologists and Physicians and Sai Devotees have rendered voluntary services to the Hospital. This is the only hospital on the western part of India which does costliest heart surgeries at free of cost. The Hospital Medical Services include - Valve Replacement Surgeries, Non Valvular Surgeries and By Pass Surgeries.

Project : Swavalamban Implementing Partner : CII – Confederation of Indian Industries

CII - A non-profit industry, catalyses change by working with government on policy issues, enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and expanding business opportunities for industry through a range of specialised services and global linkages. CII has turned the limelight on skills development across the country to align industry manpower needs with the skilling initiatives underway and improve the employability of the working population including school drop-outs, semi-skilled and un-skilled workers. Due efforts are underway to create a new wave of entrepreneurship in the country that will result in further employment generation. CII has launched its own Skills Development Initiative, which is aligned, to the National Skills Development Agenda to skill 500 million people by 2022. In this endeavour, CII has set up its first skills centre at Chhindwara, MP, to train people in bar bending, grinding, pipe fitting, welding, etc. CII along with HPCL launched the 'Swavalamban' project to train youth in multiple trades. The programmes have high local relevancy, in-built flexibility and are modular in form. Five sectoral studies have been released on skills requirements in the constructions, auto, retail, healthcare and banking & financial services sectors. CII has also taken skills development initiatives beyond national boundaries.

Project Suraksha is executed in association with Transport Corporation of India Foundation (TCIF) since 2006.

TCI Foundation, the social wing of Transport Corporation of India Limited (TCIL) takes forward the Group's belief in partnering with society at large with the aim of making life better for all. Driven by an urge to make a change. TCIF is working on Education, Health and Disaster Relief. In December 2003, TCI Foundation started a large scale effective HIV preventive intervention among the truckers in India on and along the highways (NH2-NH9). HPCL's association with TCIF is at our major retail highway locations to cater the need of our major stakeholders with a community oriented approach.
