sa-11cUstoM Fitted high coUntrY eXtreMe hUnter bootsrussell MoccasinJoe gonyoThe High Country Hunter Extreme is equipped with a new single piece Air Bob Sole that bridges the gap between the arch and the ball of the foot for added support and vastly improved longevity, plus an outside cleat pattern that helps stick to the mountain when sidehilling. The Extreme is built with a True-Fit® fiberglass shank, (68% lighter than steel but equally strong), that solidifies the arch area and makes the boot more rigid for sure-footed traction. If you have ever stood on a 12” wide ledge at 14,000 feet and looked down...seeing that the first time you would bounce is 5,000 feet below...you will immediately understand the “walk anywhere, sure-footed traction” provided by the combination of the Air Bob sole and a rigid walking platform. For significantly more walking comfort during long tough during days in the mountains, a thick layer of Poron Technical Foam, (that doesn’t compress under walking pressure), is built into the bottom of the boot. The uppers of the High Country Hunter Extreme are lined in Turtleskin and leather...providing superb lower leg and ankle support and protection from jagged rocks. Double vamp, made in a fine grained wear resistant Ebbtide leather. Available in women’s sizes too. Value $567.00Fully Donated by:Russell MoccasinJoe GonyoNew Berlin, WI (920) 361-2252

The five-year waiting period between moose licenses does not affect the ability to purchase a Governor’s moose license, and purchasing this license is independent of applying for a moose license through the draw system. The license fee ($117 for Resident, $1,416 for Non-Resident) is waived. Preference points are not affected by purchase of a Wyoming Governor’s Moose License. 90% of the auction proceeds provide funding for Wyoming moose projects via the Wyoming Governor’s Big Game License Coalition.Wyoming Game & Fish Department5400 Bishop BoulevardCheyenne, WY 82006Contact: Tim Thomas (WGFD) 307.672.8003 [email protected] Kevin Hurley (WY-WSF) 307.578.8613 [email protected]

sn-11coMPlete sheeP aPPlication PacKagehunter application serviceLarry & Stephanie Altimus are both long-time documented sheep hunters. They also are highly successful outfitters, but this donation is from another highly successful enterprise, their Hunter Application Service (HAS). They have made quite a name for themselves, as they allow their clients to use HAS money to apply for 14 sheep applications in every Western state that offers non-resident sheep tags. Yes, for the high bidder HAS will apply for 14 sheep applications and provide more than $15,000 for the tag fees. HAS will also purchase all required state hunting licenses (over $975 in value). If the high bidder has previously applied and has bonus points, these applications will simply add to that bonus point total. If the high bidder is drawn, he or she will be responsible only for that given sheep tag fee (or fees, if you are lucky enough to draw more than one tag). This sounds almost too good to be true, but it is true. I think with this explanation it becomes obvious why HAS has been so successful over the years. Steven’s Bay is twenty to twenty-five feet deep in the center, with the east end of the bay being shallow, approximately eight to ten feet deep. It is an excellent spawning ground for all species as there are numerous bays and coves with weed beds that drop off to the deeper water. The Musky fisherman will see trophy fish over fifty inches long. Northern Pike, Walleye and Lake Trout are plentiful and every so often you will catch a real trophy fish. Small mouth and Largemouth Bass provide real excitement, especially if you use light tackle. Crappies have become so numerous they can be caught right from our dock in the spring and fall. Included with this donation for two people are everything needed: Meals, lodging with private shower, maid service, boat, roomy deluxe boat equipped with pedestal seats, casting platform, live well, trolling motor, depth finder, storage space and powered by a 40 h.p. Yamaha electric start motor, unlimited gas, transportation to and from the island, use of boat and motor from 2:00pm on day of arrival, private parking, dinner on day of arrival and breakfast on day of departure and 8 day conservation fishing license. sn-392015 wYoMing rocKY MoUntain bighorn sheeP licenseWyoming Governor Matt Mead, the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission & Department, the Wyoming Governor’s Big Game License Coalition, and the Wyoming Wild Sheep Foundation are pleased to provide the Wild Sheep Foundation Midwest Chapter with a 2015 Rocky Mountain bighorn sheep license for auction. The 2015 Wyoming Governor’s Bighorn Sheep License is valid in any open hunt area having more than 8 Type 1 ram licenses issued. The number of licenses issued per hunt area may change from year to year. Seasons and license numbers for fall 2015 will be finalized in April 2015. In 2014, this license was valid in seven hunt areas: #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8/23. These hunt areas account for over 85% of Wyoming’s annual Rocky Mountain sheep harvest. For further information, please contact Doug McWhirter, Wyoming Game and Fish Department, (307) 527 7125 or Kevin Hurley, WY Wild Sheep Foundation (307) 578-8613.

Successful purchaser may hunt any open hunt area that qualifies in accordance with the above. The purchaser does not have to pick a specific hunt area and may hunt different hunt areas. The five-year waiting period between bighorn sheep licenses does not affect the ability to purchase a Governor’s bighorn sheep license, and purchasing this license is independent of applying for a bighorn sheep license through the draw system. The license fee ($122 for Resident, $2,266 for Non-Resident) is waived. Preference points are not affected by purchase of a WY Governor’s Bighorn Sheep License. 90% of the auction proceeds provide funding for Wyoming bighorn sheep projects via the Wyoming Governor’s Big Game License Coalition. sn-40long range shooting schoolMike colpo, lazy J bar o outfitters and scott olsonDates June 22-24, 2015 This 3 day shooting school will not only help give you good insight into long range hunting, it will also make you a better short range shooter too. You will also learn from the outfitter’s perspective what is expected of you, the hunter, for your next big game hunt. Your lead instructor is Alaska Master Guide, Mike Colpo, formerly of the US Army Marksmanship Unit, Army Sniper School Instructor, US Team Member and winner of many shooting disciplines. Our other instructors include NRA High Master competitive shooters who have championship experience in the “Long Range Game”. This school will teach you the skills to accurately make long range shots. By gaining the knowledge of today’s science and technology, you will have the confidence necessary to accurately make the long range shot if needed. Our goal is not to make you a “Long Range Hunter”, our goal is to give you another tool on your hunt to help take that trophy of a lifetime. The school takes place at the Shiloh Sharps Range, east of Big Timber, MT for the first 2 days. The third day will be a field day where we will go into the hills and put those new skills to work. Students will be shooting at targets under realistic hunting conditions up to 1000 yards away. There will also be a special opportunity to shoot the instructors’ specialized rifles at targets beyond a mile away. Lunch at the range will be included every day and an evening cookout at Mike’s home south of Big Timber. Lodging is available in Big Timber. An accurate rifle with a turret type scope and at least a 100 rounds of ammo is needed. Extra shooters are welcome at $1500 per shooter, space is limited. sn-492015 KYrgYZstan Marco Polo hUntasian Mountain outfittersAsian Mountain Outfitters offers a unique and adventurous mountain hunting experience in Kyrgyzstan, for one of most incredible mountain sheep in the world, the majestic Marco Polo. This is actually the Hume Argali, a subspecies of the Marco Polo sheep. The hunt date will be Oct. or Nov. 2015 or January 2016; it is approximately an 8-9 day trip, plus travel. This hunt is conducted on horseback/foot in high elevations (10,000-13,000’). This is not a North American Hunt and hunters need to be prepared for cultural/language differences, long range and sometimes quick shooting (proficient at 500+ yards). The climates are similar to the high & dry areas of CO, NM and NV. All Kyrgyzstan hunting licenses and fees are included; however camp staff tips are additional. The winning bidder will have their name submitted to the USFWS, so that they will get USFWS CITES import permits. The U.S. CITES application with USFWS is due by May 1, 2015 and costs $100. Most of the hunting areas have a heated house or cabin and if spiking out, the hunter will use backpack style tents. A non-hunting companion is welcome for $2,500. If hunt space is available for an additional hunter, on the same hunt date, price is $29,500 for one Marco Polo. A Mid-Asian Ibex can be added to this hunt for an additional $5,500. Typical sizes for Marco Polo Rams are 44”-52” and Ibex range average 37”-45”. Considerably larger animals of both species have been taken. Generally the hunters will take the trophy(s) home as checked luggage, but a few of our hunters decide to have them shipped DHL or Fed Ex and cleared, using a Wildlife broker. The hunt is to be taken during the 2015/2016 season, but arrangements can be made to postpone hunt until 2016/2017 (for an extra cost and with approval from Asian Mountain Outfitters). The hunter is responsible for the flight to and from Bishkek via Turkish Air/Istanbul, meals and lodging while in Bishkek (usually 2 nights), extra baggage fees for taking home skin/skull or shipping of trophies home and staff tips (clients will be provided with tip suggestions). Asian Mountain Outfitters has their own equipment (tents, stoves) and their Kyrgyzstan English speaking manager works with many different outfitters, in many different locations, who provide local guides, assistants, cooks, vehicles, horses, camps, food, and lodging. The best local guides typically do not speak English, but are skilled hunters and horsemen. If it is your first trip to Central Asia, we recommend a Western/English speaking guide to accompany you (price is $5,000 USD plus all their travel and trip expenses). Hunters who elect to hunt with just the local guides need to be able to assist in trophy judging & oversee the skin preparations. Bryan has conducted seminars at various conventions in the past, about equipment, shooting and what should be expected on such hunts. He has outfitted in Canada since 1999 and in Central Asia since 2002 and has personally been on many successful Marco Polo/Ibex hunts and will do his best to educate and prepare a hunter, before the trip. Usually he spends 40-60 days each year in Asia, to insure that AMO is very knowledgeable regarding all aspects of the hunts. Make sure to check out Asian Mountain Outfitters website, Kyrgyzstan Marco Polo and Ibex Hunting for more info. Value: $29,500.00.
