Glare is created when light reflects
horizontally off a surface like a road
and into the eyes. This effect can also
be referred to as polarisation.
When the eye is affected by glare you will
experience an increase in brightness, a
reduction in colour saturation and objects will
often appear washed out. Polarised lenses
eliminate glare by only allowing vertically
angled light to enter the wearer’s eyes, this
reduces strain and allows the eye to focus
with greater ease in all weather conditions.
Eliminating glare with a polarised lens
also provides greater contrast with
little to no alteration to true colour and
enhances vision when in the presence of
highly reflective surfaces such as glass,
water and snow.
NON-POLARISED LENS
Horizontally reflected sunlight is known as
glare. Whilst vertical light is useful to the
human eye, glare makes it difficult and
uncomfortable to see.
Non-polarised sunglasses don’t block glare.
Glarefoil Polarised sunglasses block glare,
only allowing useful vertical light to enter the
wearer’s eyes.

C14 COPPER MONO POLARISED
Good for golf, cycling and skating. Suitable for variable light conditions,
including hazy and overcast days.
S15 SMOKE MONO POLARISED
Smoke lenses provide the most natural colour vision, reducing light intensity
without altering the colour of objects. This colour is good for water sports.
G15 GREEN MONO POLARISED
Strains your eyes the least out of all the lenses and offers more contrast
than the other colours. Green lenses are good for tennis.
B15 BROWN MONO POLARISED
Best overall colour for all types of weather and brightness. Also offers contrast.
Good for cycling and skating.
MIRRORED LENSES
All mirrors reflect light, reducing the amount of light that passes through the lens.
Ideal for harsh sun.
WARRANTY INFORMATION These frames are warranted for one year against manufacturing faults from the date of purchase. Coverage is
valid only with proof of purchase. The warranty is valid only for goods that are purchased new and does not cover damage caused by general wear, abuse or mishandling. Warranty claims must be submitted at the purchaser’s expense by returning the goods to the place of purchase, or to Sunshades Eyewear. Sunshades Eyewear will repair or replace faulty frames that are covered by the warranty. This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies of the purchaser under the laws in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
