Standing Orders1. This Council instructs the Sabbatical Officers to
not campaign for either side of any EU Referendum campaign run by the Guild or the students of Exeter.

Shadow Council Vacancies• We have offered vacant posts on other
Councils (each led by a DVP) to unsuccessful candidates in the recent Guild Council election.– Quoracy being 25 votes. – These Councils do not come into being until 27
April.• Would you be happy to extend this invitation
for Shadow Council vacancies?– There are 6 posts vacant
on Shadow Council.– Two invites have been made: Charlies Beaty,
Eaindra Cho.

NOTES:Commenters noted that a course for self-defence classes has recently finished that cost £10 for 6 weeks.
Kung Fu Society provide classes at “£4 for a possible 10 hours of training per week.”

Campaign for 'break clause' in Uni accommodation agreements. (Would allow students to drop out of accommodation agreements for halls by giving four weeks notice).
NOTES:Commenters noted that housing contracts off-campus do not necessarily have a break clause, although most shorthold tenancies revert to a month-to-month basis after an initial length of time.

Put up signs to remind people its silent study in the sanctuary and not a place to do group work or have a chat
NOTES:The point was raised that putting up signs is a passive reminder which do not achieve the correct results.
It was suggested that students tell those disturbing them to be quieter.
