I am a music producer musician amp songwriter from Argentina who moved to Miami with little luggage and big dreams in the year 2000 I knew that music was ldquomy thingrdquo when I was 12 and started playing guitar Ever since I was 6 I knew something wasnrsquot totally normal with my ear training I remember singing harmonies to some Arias and Operas while my older brother was rehearsing for his concerts in the kidrsquos chorus at the Teatro Colon in Argentina I never ever sung the lead melodies Ha ha that is not normalAs the Argentinian that I am my music orientation is absolutely rock amp pop I love tropical music but I was not raised with that swing inside of me I canrsquot even dance salsa and that sucksWhen I moved to Miami I started seeing the music business very differently than when I lived in Argentina In Argentina I had a pretty good career in music already I used to come to Los Angeles and Miami to record and mix albums for the local Argentinian market wishing one day I could move to the land of dreams where everything seemed so reachable and easy How-

ever everything changed and crumbled when I actually made the move to Miami and it was not easy as I thought I basically had to start from scratch My first works here were as a recording engineer and then I recorded some background vocals for the band ldquoIlegalesrdquo It was hard to put my name out because Miami was the ldquoMeccardquo of Latin music and the big-time producers were hitting the charts like Messi scores every weekend in Barcelona I was struggling to take a step higher with my careerFinally I had my first gig as a producer for Paty Manterola and at least I could feel the wheel movingBut my life changed when I started working as a producer arranger and songwriter for someone I admired so much back in the day ldquoMr Estefanordquo one of the most talented songwriters I have ever met He was a ldquosign of the timesrdquo for the Miami music scene in the early 2000rsquos He had mansions Ferraris Porsches - you name it - he had it all Working for him opened up a huge door in my career I produced wrote and arranged songs for the big names like Marc Anthony Jennifer Lopez Chayanne amp Thalia

among many others It was a very prolific time in my life After work-ing for Estefano I signed my first publishing deal with Warner Chappell (I refer to them as ldquomy familyrdquo) I restarted my ldquosolordquo producer amp songwriter career and soon had the blessing of writing and producing a lot of songs for the one and only Yolandita Monge -rdquomy sisterrdquo Alejandra Guzman my amazing gorgeous wife Sarah Lenore Alessan-dra Amoroso - one of the best contemporary Italian singers Il Volo Roberto Carlos the always-charismatic Diego Torres and the unbeliev-able Chayanne - among many other incredibly talented independent artists from all over the world And most of it happened because of Miami ndash ldquoThe Miami Music Scenerdquo This is the city that also gave me my two amazing sons and a bunch of new fantastic friends from all different latitudes accents and cultures I am just as in love with Miami today (maybe even more so) than as I was when I first moved here The music business here is not easy and a lot of talented people decided to move out to Los Angeles but we still love our Miami - I know I do

ever everything changed and crumbled when I actually made the move to Miami and it was not easy as I thought I basically had to start from scratch My first works here were as a recording engineer and then I recorded some background vocals for the band ldquoIlegalesrdquo It was hard to put my name out because Miami was the ldquoMeccardquo of Latin music and the big-time producers were hitting the charts like Messi scores every weekend in Barcelona I was struggling to take a step higher with my careerFinally I had my first gig as a producer for Paty Manterola and at least I could feel the wheel movingBut my life changed when I started working as a producer arranger and songwriter for someone I admired so much back in the day ldquoMr Estefanordquo one of the most talented songwriters I have ever met He was a ldquosign of the timesrdquo for the Miami music scene in the early 2000rsquos He had mansions Ferraris Porsches - you name it - he had it all Working for him opened up a huge door in my career I produced wrote and arranged songs for the big names like Marc Anthony Jennifer Lopez Chayanne amp Thalia

among many others It was a very prolific time in my life After work-ing for Estefano I signed my first publishing deal with Warner Chappell (I refer to them as ldquomy familyrdquo) I restarted my ldquosolordquo producer amp songwriter career and soon had the blessing of writing and producing a lot of songs for the one and only Yolandita Monge -rdquomy sisterrdquo Alejandra Guzman my amazing gorgeous wife Sarah Lenore Alessan-dra Amoroso - one of the best contemporary Italian singers Il Volo Roberto Carlos the always-charismatic Diego Torres and the unbeliev-able Chayanne - among many other incredibly talented independent artists from all over the world And most of it happened because of Miami ndash ldquoThe Miami Music Scenerdquo This is the city that also gave me my two amazing sons and a bunch of new fantastic friends from all different latitudes accents and cultures I am just as in love with Miami today (maybe even more so) than as I was when I first moved here The music business here is not easy and a lot of talented people decided to move out to Los Angeles but we still love our Miami - I know I do
