Eleven of the contests will be broadcast on NBCSN, while Minnesota’s game against Detroit in Saint Paul on Sunday, Feb. 12, will be broadcast on NBC at 2 p.m. CT. The Wild will host eight of its 12 nationally televised games at Xcel Energy Center, including a stretch of three straight home games, Feb. 8-12. The Wild’s national broadcast schedule begins on Sunday, Jan. 8, as Minnesota visits Anaheim at 7 p.m. CT. The game marks Wild Head Coach Bruce Boudreau’s return to Anaheim and his first game against his former club. The final of the Wild’s 12 national broadcasts will mark Minnesota’s last game at historic Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, as the Red Wings move to a new arena in 2017-18. All four meetings between the Wild and Central Division-rival Chicago Blackhawks will be broadcast nationally. Last season, three of the five regular-season matchups between the teams were broadcast nationally. Minnesota has won seven consecutive regular-season games against the Blackhawks.
