ASSOCIATE HEAD COACH YVONNE HAWKINS•ThisisHawkinsfifthseasonasassociateheadcoachalongsideCoachErikJohnson.HawkinsandJohnson began working together at Boston College in 2006. • Hawkins and Johnson were assistant coaches at Boston College in 2006. When Johnson was hired as the head coach at Denver, Hawkins joined him as his assistant coach and was later promoted to an associate head coach. The two arrived back at the Heights in the 2012-13 season.• A native of Ohio, Hawkins is responsible for coaching the post players on the BC roster. • A graduate of Ashland University, Hawkins earned her degree in physical education a picked up a minor in adapted physical education. Hawkins, who served as a WNBA scout for the Detroit Shock in 2007, won the Judy Sweet Award at the Alliance For Women’s Coaches Symposium, 2001.

ASSISTANT COACH TOM GARRICK• Tom Garrick enters his second season as an assistant coach on the Boston College’s staff. • He arrived in June of 2015 after serving as an assistant coach and then associate head coach for the Vanderbilt women’s basketball team.• Garrick, a native of Rhode Island, arrived at Vanderbilt as an assistant coach in 2009. He was then promoted to associate head coach in 2013. •GarrickplayedfouryearsatRhodeIsland,hisfirsttwoyearsforBrendanMaloneandthelasttwoforTomPenders.Inhisseniorseason,GarrickledtheRamsintothefinaloftheAtlantic10withajaw-drop-ping performance vs. Rutgers. The guard poured in 50 points as URI defeated Rutgers on March 8, 1988, 104-73. • He was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in 1988 and played four seasons in the NBA, including with San Antonio, Minnesota and Dallas. He also played overseas in Germany, Turkey and Spain.

ASSISTANT COACH JESYKA BURKS-WILEY• A native of Kansas City, Missouri, joined the Boston College staff in June of 2016. • Prior to her arrival at The Heights, Burks-Wiley worked two seasons as an assistant coach under former BC forward and now head coach at Brown, Sarah Behn. • A 2009 graduate of Boston University, Burks-Wiley was the America East Player of the Year her se-nior season. A two-year starter, she became one of only eight players to record 1,000 points and 500 rebounds.• Upon graduation in 2009, Burks-Wiley played professionally overseas in Romania, Finland, Portugal and Belgium.

BC Hall of Fame• In September, the Boston College Varsity Club Hall of Fame held the annual induction ceremony. This year, former guard Clare Droesch ‘05 was inducted into the HOF.
