...With The Director! What a privilege to spend the summer making theatre magic with 47 of our area’s greatest young people! Footloose has been a labor of love and I couldn’t be more proud of our cast and the way they have tackled sensi-tive issues, emotional topics, and challenging material. Not to mention the many musical numbers and All That Dancing! This show has many moving parts. I’m so grateful for the support of all the families of our cast and crew, who have volunteered countless hours to put together the many pieces of this production that are never seen from the audience. Our production team has been outstanding and I’m especially delighted that I had the chance to work again with the very talented Merrit Spicer, our choreographer, who has been my creative cohort since the 1980s—coincidentally, the time period for Footloose! Thank you to my family for selflessly sharing their summer with our show and to the DLO Board of Directors for allowing me the opportunity to work with these amazing kids. Thank you for coming! Now, kick off your Sunday shoes, cut loose, and enjoy our production of Footloose! Shannon Schroeder, Director of Footloose
