Welcome to the 2016 Green Homes Festival from your host, EarthWays Center of the Missouri Botanical Garden!

We’re excited to present our 15th annual Festival back at the William T. Kemper Center for Home Gardening, Cohen Amphitheater, and its surrounding gardens and grounds. Blending this popular event into the Garden’s blooming walkways will highlight the connections between plant-based green living ideas and solutions to energy, water and waste issues.

Presented by Ameren Missouri and sponsored by many local partners, this year’s festival features over 40 exhibits and demonstrations by the St. Louis region’s leading sustainability-focused businesses and organizations. Our roster of 16 ”Presentations to the People” offers ideas to help reduce our region’s dependence on fossil fuels, decrease waste, cultivate biodiversity, and improve quality of life. Take the opportunity today to talk with local experts about your specific interests, home projects, and green living needs.

Striving to “walk our talk” in every way we can, Festival sustainability practices include: Printing all materials on 100% post-consumer recycled content paper with soy inks Printing T-shirts on post-consumer recycled P.E.T. fiber with phthalate-free ink Reducing the festival’s “waste-line” with recycling and composting collection Providing FREE electric vehicle charging Renewable energy certificates have reduced the carbon footprint for festival and travel power consumption—courtesy of the Ameren Missouri Pure Power program Providing local, healthy, and organic food options Providing ample bike parking

Please keep this program booklet as a handy contact reference for your future projects. Refer to www.mobot.org/greenhomesfest for updated exhibitor lists. THANK YOU for taking action to live more sustainably—in your home and on our planet.
