Zion, each with an invitation to become a part of what they are doing to provide the ministries of our church. This will kick off September as “Engagement Month” for our church. In addition, our Sunday School will be presenting their classes for the Fall where families can sign up for the learning opportunities they offer. It’s a new season and it’s kick-off time so we are inviting everyone to wear your favorite team jersey or tee shirt. There will be field games for everyone to play, including corn hole, Gaga Ball, volleyball, and horseshoe pitching…and a special edition of Candyland and Jeopardy. And food will be provided so we can all eat together in a “stadium style” meal. So bring your appetites and enjoy the food! NEEDED: PowerPoint Coordinator How would you like to be part of an exciting and fulfilling ministry here at Mt. Zion, one which greatly enhances the worship experience for our congregation? We are looking for a volunteer to coordinate the PowerPoint prepa-ration and projection duties for both our 9am and 11am services. Duties would include:

Monthly: assign PowerPoint personnel for each week and provide for inclusion in the Pointer

Weekly: send reminder to appropriate preparers/projectionists and worship participants

Proofread the PowerPoint files, and make corrections/additions as necessary

Coordinate any special video needs (e.g. Youtube, dvd, USB, file)

Download the files to the sanctuary computer

Prepare the rolling announcement file and the video for the W. Narthex monitor

As needed, participate in Praise Band rehearsals to finalize the weekly 11am powerpoint file

Assist with projection duties as needed

Familiarity with PowerPoint (2007 or later versions) would be useful. Training will be provided. These duties should require no more than 5 hours per week, not including any projection duties for Sunday services. If you are interested, please contact Sam Hergert ([email protected]) or Pastor Tammi.
