The Kawazuzakura Festival will be held in Kawazu Town from February 10 th (Wed.) to March 10 th (Thur.) in 2016. Sakura Kaiseki Plan - Details

Dates: 2/10/2016 (Wed) ~ 3/10/2016 (Wed)

Rate: from 29,160 Yen (1 night, 2 meals, per adult in 2 person

occupancy room, includes service fee, tax, and hot spring use)

Dining: Sakura Kaiseki (Dinner), Japanese set breakfast

Details: Free transportation to see the Kawazu Sakura festival,

cherry blossom liquor gift, tea service upon arrival, select your

own preferred bathing robe color and pattern (women only),

priority use of private outdoor bath (1,620 Yen for 45 minutes),

and free transportation to and from Izukyuko Kawazu Station

(reservation required)

■ The 26th Annual Kawazu Sakura Festival Kawazuzakura bloom every year from early February and reach full

bloom over the course of approximately one month. These trees are

some of the earliest blooming on the main island of Honshu and are a

delight to view as they gradually bud and bloom toward their much

anticipated full bloom a month later. Every year festival attendees

enjoy the splendor of cherry blossoms, lit up at night, along the 300 meter span from the

Yakatabashi to Hamabashi bridges, through the Kawazuzakura cherry blossom tunnel, at three

locations on the Kawazu Nanadaru Loop bridge, and along the Imaihama coast.
