STAAR TESTING!

Due to STAAR testing security, our campus will be closed to

all visitors on Wednesday, March 30th—Friday April 1st. Visi-

tors to the building including parents, volunteers, and watch

dogs will not be allowed on these scheduled testing dates.

Please refrain from bringing birthday treats this week as well.

Contact your child’s teacher to schedule treats for another

day. Thank you for your patience while we try to provide opti-

mal testing conditions for our students.

Before School Fast Math, I Station, ESL Before

School Tutoring, and HD Decoding Group are

cancelled next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thurs-

day due to closed campus as well.

2016 STAAR TESTING DATES:

March 30th: 5th Grade Reading

March 31st: Make Up Tests

5th grade parents please make sure your child gets a

good night’s sleep and eats a healthy breakfast. Stu-

dents who are testing do not need to bring backpacks

and we strongly encourage students to leave all cell

phones and other technology devises at home.

First Grade: 10:00 to 10:50

Third Grade and PPCD p.m.: 1:00 to 1:50

Fourth Grade: 2:00 to 2:50

The Kindergarten Team is getting ready to welcome our incoming

parents and kindergarteners for the 2016-2017 school year! Our

“Kinder Round Up” will be on Tuesday, April 5th from 5:30-6:30.

Our incoming kindergartners will get to participate in activities

in a kindergarten classroom while parents will be listening to a

presentation about what it’s like being a Stanley Kindergartner!

We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday!

New registration procedures. InfoSnap, the online student registration system, is now

available for new students to attend school in Katy ISD for the

spring 2016 semester. Register in InfoSnap by going to

Katyisd.org/parents/registration, prior to coming to the campus.

No paper forms, only online. Incoming Kindergarten registration

will open March 28th.

Please note the date change for 3rd grade Eureka.

It has been moved to April 19th.

Our Spring Party has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 7th!

A new sign-up genius has been made. Please click on the link below to

We have a few extra stations for the kids to enjoy and need some volunteers to help pull off a

great day for our kids! If you are available to help please see the link below.

Please note that the time slots for volunteering are for 70 minutes. This gives you 10 minutes to

find your activity and set up before the kids come out and 10 minutes after to tidy up and maybe

pass info onto the next group of volunteers.
