CORPORATE TAGGING GUIDE

2016 - 2017 HOME DEPOT® CORPORATE TAGGING GUIDE

Program Goals• Provide the strongest consumer tag programs in the industry

• Create a consistent look throughout the Home Depot® Garden Centers on all plant material in both branded and non-branded programs

• Include regionally specific tag information on Home Depot® Live Goods Tagging Program tags

• Offer tagging programs based on Just-In-Time Delivery allowing for flexibility and up-to-date tags in the marketplace

Live Goods Tagging Program Notes• Home Depot® corporate tags are required for all plants that

are not part of a Home Depot® approved Branded Program

• Growers found not to be using an approved Home Depot® tag in their plants will be subject to fines

• Variety submissions must be submitted via the online order system at www.hdonlineordering.multipkg.com

• Home Depot® recommended container size for each tag is indicated by each tag description in the tagging guide

• Please pay close attention to the run schedule for each tag type. Some have more run dates than others. Additional runs will be added if demand warrants.

Overruns or UnderrunsMPS follows the industry standard of +/- 10% regarding overruns and underruns. Overruns or underruns, not to exceed 10% of the amount ordered, will constitute an acceptable delivery. The provider will bill for actual quantity delivered within this tolerance.

Terms: May 1, 2017 terms are effective July 1 - April 30 with up-to-date and approved credit. Any orders placed between May 1 and June 30 are net 30 days with approved credit.

In this guide you will find detailed information regarding the mandatory 2016-2017 Home Depot® Corporate Tagging Program.

All plants in The Home Depot® Indoor & Outdoor Garden Centers must have a Home Depot® Corporate Tag. This also includes having the correct size tag in each container as outlined on the container charts in the guide.

Any growers found not using an approved Home Depot® tag on their plants will be subject to the following fines: • first offense - 10% deducted from vendor payable check • second offense - 20% deducted from vendor payable check • third offense - personal meeting with Divisional Merchandising Manager, Dan Stuppiello
