The 6th Annual Kids Fishing Derby was held Sunday, September 17th at Captain Ron’s. 65 kids from toddler to 14 years old came and enjoyed the day. Thank you to our many sponsors: Renken Law Firm; Osage Bait & Tackle and Season to Season Outdoors. The Lake West Chamber is pleased to offer this event to give back to our great community for their support. All the anglers received prizes.

The 16th Annual Lake West Chamber Lighted Christmas Parade is Sat-urday, November 25th beginning at 6 p.m. at Central Bank in Laurie and traveling north on Hwy 5 to the Laurie Mall where Santa will go inside to visit with the kids. Theme this year is “The 12 Days of Christmas”. Look for more information in the November Newsletter. Call 573.374.5500 if you would like to put a float in the parade.
