IMC’s affairs are managed under the direction of the Missional Leadership Team. The primary functions of the Missional Leadership Team are:
• To effect the fulfillment of the stated ends of IMC member congrega-tions as determined by their delegates,
• To insure that the actions of IMC congregations, personnel, and Con-ference Related Ministries function within the parameters of IMC stated limitations.
In compliance with the State of Illinois laws pertaining to non-profit corpora-tions, the members of the MLT shall be deemed to be the Board of Directors of the Illinois Mennonite Conference.

Church Life Team — Credentialing Body
The Church Life Team is designed to provide assistance to the Conference Minister of IMC regarding issues of credentialing pastors and of congrega-tional health. The CLT also provides emotional and spiritual support to the conference minister.

Financial Advisory Team
The IMC treasurer is appointed by the MLT. The treasurer is the principal accounting and financial officer of IMC. The treasurer serves as a member of the Financial Advisory Team and is accountable to the Conference Minis-ter.

Living Love Ministries—Amor Viviente (East Peoria) is actively engaged in several church planting efforts.
