Come Thirsty. Drink Deeply. As part of our theme for 2017 and 2018 we invite you to take part in a special focus on prayer. Resources We will regularly share manuals, ideas, blogs and other resources. Check baptistwomen.com, live magazine, Facebook, Instagram, and sign up for our free E-LINK. There will be lots of opportunities to learn. Interactive prayer rooms to celebrate LOVE DAY, and World Day of Prayer and beyond Beginning the first weekend in November 2017, we invite you to host an interactive prayer space where you live. This is an opportunity to combine intercession with opportunities for reflection and creativity, and surround our concern for our community and the world with prayer.

Think of LOVE DAY as your anchor cause day Survey the community around your church

• What are the needs in your community? Pray. Choose a cause:

• vulnerable women, youth and children at risk, relief/community development

Plan a church-wide activity to meet that need. Host an interactive prayer space for the day.

• Think of reflective and creative ways in which your church can pray for the community.

Promote the day at your church. Enjoy the day when it arrives. (And tell us about it!)

LOVE DAY 2017: Saturday November 4 We believe your first mission field is your neighbourhood. On this day, gather your church, put on your LOVE DAY T-shirts and love the vulnerable women, youth and children right where you live, worship or work.

We’ve expanded Baptist Women Sunday to become a time when we celebrate the work of Baptist Women and advocate for the dignity of women everywhere. Choose any Sunday between September 2017 – May 2018. Customize your program. You may just want to hand out resources booklets and use the slide show . . . or you may want to take the whole service. Collect resources booklets and offering envelopes. Just visit our website to register and download these resource booklets. Offering envelopes are available from our office.

Directed Prayer Strategic Giving A new way Baptist Women supports CBM Fundraise for these special CBM projects that support Baptist Women’s anchor causes of vulnerable women, youth and children at risk, and relief /community development work. 100% of your funds go directly to each project but you need to send them in to Baptist Women. Here are some suggested steps:

• Pray. • Choose an anchor cause and

adopt a project. • Let us know which project

you’ve chosen. • Raise funds throughout the

year. • Send your donations in to

Baptist Women. This is a chance to change lives. You’ll find full details in our CBM booklet.
