Customer Homologation and TestingAutomotive/Railway OEMs and Tier 1s quality departments inspect and approve start of activities at the suppliers’ facilities prior to Start-of-Production.Carbures must put in place all requirements set by each customer.
On the other side, each component has specific quality requirements (structural, aesthetics, functional,…) and might have testing (mechanical, environment,functional…).
Testing is to be done in authorized test centers for the automotive (TÜV, Applus-Idiada, etc.).
