PERFORMANCE

1. THE LEGENDARY SMALL BLOCK. This Corvette-inspired small block V8 engine delivers 415 horsepower and 415 lb.-ft. of torque. Displacement is 6.2 liters.

2. SIX SPEEDS FORWARD. The available 6-speed manual transmission offers a connected driving experience and it is the perfect complement to the 6.2L V8 engine.

A ROBUST FOUNDATION. The backbone of the SS sedan is its ultra-high-strength steel structure. Plus, the extensive use of high-strength aluminum components enhances handling and contributes to the solid, confident feel.

SPORT-TUNED SUSPENSION. The dynamic SS driving experience is the result of intensive racetrack testing. The Sport-Tuned suspension combines

with variable-assist Electric Power Steering and a near perfect 50/50 weight distribution for optimal handling.

SAFETY STARTS WITH YOU. Safety features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Read the vehicle Owner’s Manual for important feature limitations and information.

Whether you’re on the road or in a parking lot, the available innovative active safety technologies in SS use strategically located cameras and sensors to help warn you of potential collisions.

FORWARD COLLISION ALERT. This feature continually monitors how close your vehicle is to the vehicle in front of you. If the system determines that a front-end collision with a detected vehicle is imminent, it alerts the driver to a potential crash. It also warns the driver if their SS is following a detected vehicle too closely.

SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT. With radar sensors on both sides of the vehicle, Side Blind Zone Alert helps to warn you when vehicles are in your side mirror blind zones and indicates their presence with LED-lit symbols in the exterior mirrors.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT. Using the same radar sensors as Side Blind Zone Alert, this feature alerts you to crossing traffic behind your SS when backing up. Audible warnings, as well as visual alerts on the rear vision camera screen, are triggered if approaching vehicles are detected.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING. If you unintentionally change lanes without a turn signal, this camera-based system sends an alert. The camera, mounted near the inside rearview mirror, reads traffic lane markings when identifiable and provides audible and visual alerts.

AUTOMATIC PARKING ASSIST. This ultrasonic sensor-based system enables the vehicle to detect viable parking spaces, determine approach angles and take over the steering to neatly maneuver into an available space. Throttle, brake and gear selection input is still required by the driver, but the vehicle steers itself into any suitable-sized parallel or perpendicular (90-degree) parking spot.

REAR VISION CAMERA. When traveling in reverse at low speeds, the rear vision camera allows you to see stationary objects immediately behind the vehicle on the touch-screen.
