Keyless Enter-N-Go — PassiveEntry

The Keyless Enter-N-Go system is an enhance-ment to the vehicle’s key fob. This feature allowsyou to lock and unlock the vehicle’s door(s) andliftgate without having to press the key fob lock orunlock buttons.

To Unlock From The Driver OrPassenger Side

• With a valid Keyless Enter-N-Go key fob locatedoutside the vehicle and within 5 ft (1.5 m) ofthe driver or passenger side door handle, grabeither front door handle to unlock the doorautomatically.

To Lock The Vehicle• Both front door handles have buttons located

on the outside of the handle. With one of thevehicle's Keyless Enter-N-Go key fobs locatedoutside the vehicle and within 5 ft (1.5 m) ofthe driver's or passenger front door handle,push the door handle button to lock all fourdoors and trunk.

• Do NOT grab the door handle, when pushingthe door handle button. This could unlock thedoor(s).

NOTE:

• If “Unlock All Doors 1st Press” is programmed,all doors will unlock when you grab hold of thefront driver's door handle. To select between“Unlock Driver Door 1st Press” and “Unlock AllDoors 1st Press.”

• If “Unlock All Doors 1st Press” is programmed,all doors and trunk will unlock when you pushthe trunk button. To select between “UnlockDriver Door 1st Press” and “Unlock All Doors1st Press.”

• If a key fob is detected in the vehicle whenlocking the vehicle using the power door lockswitch, the doors and trunk will unlock, and thehorn will chirp three times. On the third at-tempt, your key fob can be locked inside thevehicle.

• After pushing the Keyless Enter-N-Go lock but-ton, you must wait two seconds before you canlock or unlock the vehicle using the doorhandle. This is done to allow you to check if thevehicle is locked by pulling the door handlewithout the vehicle reacting and unlocking.

• If a Keyless Enter-N-Go door handle has notbeen used for 72 hours, the Keyless Enter-N-Go feature for that handle may time out.Pulling the deactivated front door handle willreactivate the door handle's Keyless Enter-N-Go feature.

To Enter The Trunk

• With a valid Keyless Enter-N-Go key fob locatedoutside the vehicle and within 5 ft (1.5 m) ofthe deck lid, push the button located on thecenter of the light bar which is located on thedeck lid above the license plate.

Trunk Release Button

Instrument Cluster Display

The instrument cluster display features an inter-active driver display that is located in the instru-ment cluster. Pushing the controls on the left sideof the steering wheel allows the driver to selectvehicle information and Personal Settings.

• Push the up button to scroll upward through themain menus (Speedometer, mph/km/h, VehicleInfo, Terrain, Driver Assist, Fuel Economy, TripA, Trip B, Audio, Stored Messages, Screen SetUp).

• Push the down button to scroll downwardthrough the main menu and submenus (Speed-ometer, mph/km/h, Vehicle Info, Terrain, DriverAssist, Fuel Economy, Trip A, Trip B, Audio,Stored Messages, Screen Set Up).

• Push the right button to access the informationscreens or submenu screens of a main menuitem.

• Push the left button to access the informationscreens or submenu screens of a main menuitem.

• Push the OK button to access/select the infor-mation screens or submenu screens of a mainmenu item. Push and hold the OK button fortwo seconds to reset displayed/selected fea-tures that can be reset.

Compass Calibration

This compass is self-calibrating, which eliminatesthe need to set the compass manually. When thevehicle is new, the compass may appear erratic,and the cluster will display dashes (- -) until thecompass is calibrated.

You may also calibrate the compass by completingone or more 360 degree turns (in an area free fromlarge metal or metallic objects) until the dashes (- -)displayed in the cluster turn off. The compass willnow function normally.

Pairing ProcedureMobile phone pairing is the process of establish-ing a wireless connection between a cellularphone and the Uconnect system.

Start Pairing Procedure On The Radio

Uconnect 5.0:

1. Place the ignition in the ACC or ON position.

2. Press the “Phone” button.

3. Select “Settings.”

4. Select “Paired Phones.”

5. Select “Add device.”

• Uconnect Phone will display an “In prog-ress” screen while the system is connect-ing.

Uconnect 8.4, 8.4 NAV:

1. Place the ignition in the ACC or ON position.

2. Press the “Phone” button in the Menu Bar onthe touchscreen.

3. Select “Settings.”

4. Select “Paired Phones.”

5. Select “Add device.”

• Uconnect Phone will display an “In prog-ress” screen while the system is connect-ing.

Pair Your iPhone:

To search for available devices on your Bluetoothenabled iPhone:

1. Press the Settings button.

1. When prompted on the mobile phone, acceptthe connection request from Uconnect Phone.

NOTE:Some mobile phones will require you to enter thePIN number.

Pair Your Android Device:

To search for available devices on your Bluetoothenabled Android Device:

1. Push the Menu button.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select Connections.

4. Turn Bluetooth setting to “On.”

• Ensure the Bluetooth feature is enabled.Once enabled, the mobile phone will beginto search for Bluetooth connections.

5. Once your mobile phone finds the Uconnectsystem, select “Uconnect”.

• You may be prompted by your mobile phoneto download the phonebook, check “Do NotAsk Again” to automatically download thephonebook. This is so you can make calls bysaying the name of your contact.

Complete The Android Pairing Procedure: 1. Confirm the passkey shown on the mobilephone matches the passkey shown on theUconnect system then accept the Bluetoothpairing request.

NOTE:Some mobile phones require the PIN to be en-tered manually, enter the PIN number shown onthe Uconnect screen.

Automatic High Beam — IfEquippedThis system automatically controls the operationof the headlamp high beams as oncoming vehiclesapproach.

• The Automatic High Beam Headlamp Control canbe turned on or off using the Uconnect System.

• Push the turn signal lever away from you.

• With the headlight switch in the “AUTO” posi-tion, the high beams are controlled automatically

• Pull the turn signal lever toward you to manu-ally deactivate the system.

• To improve system recognition of crossing traf-fic and to limit use in a residential area, thevehicle must be moving at a speed greater than20 mph (32 km/h) before the Automatic HighBeam Module (AHBM) begins requesting highbeam activation.

NOTE:If the windshield or Automatic High Beam Head-lamp Control mirror is replaced, the mirror mustbe re-aimed to ensure proper performance. Seeyour local authorized dealer.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) —If Equipped

If your vehicle is equipped with Adaptive CruiseControl, the controls operate exactly the same asthe standard cruise control, with one difference.You can set a specified distance you would like tomaintain between you and the vehicle in front ofyou.

• If the ACC sensor detects a vehicle ahead, ACCwill apply limited braking or acceleration auto-matically to maintain a preset following dis-tance while matching the speed of the vehicleahead.

• If the sensor does not detect a vehicle directlyahead of you, it functions like a standard cruisecontrol system, maintaining the speed you set.

Forward Collision Warning — IfEquippedThe Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system pro-vides the driver with audible warnings and visualwarnings within the instrument cluster display, towarn the driver when it detects a potential frontalcollision. The warnings are intended to provide thedriver with enough time to react, avoid or mitigatethe potential collision.

FCW monitors the information from the forwardlooking sensors as well as the Electronic BrakeController (EBC), to calculate the probability of aforward collision. When the system determinesthat a forward collision is probable, the driver willbe provided with audible and visual warnings.

NOTE:The FCW feature can be customized and turnedoff through the Uconnect System touchscreen.

• Wheels - due to the high performance nature ofthe brake system, the wheels will get coatedwith brake dust. It is recommended thatMopar® Wheel Cleaner be used on your wheelsto avoid any possible damage to the finish.However, do not use wheel cleaner if yourvehicle is equipped with Dark Vapor or BlackSatin Chrome wheels, which must only becleaned with mild soap, water, and a soft cloth.

NOTE:Due to the high performance nature of the brakeson your SRT, vehicle dust and some noise areexpected and normal.

• Tire Service Kit - your vehicle comes with a tireinflator kit; there is no spare tire included inyour vehicle.

• Trailer Tow - Trailer towing with your SRT ve-hicle is not recommended.

• ESC (Electronic Stability Control) - your vehicleis equipped with selectable ESC modes. TheESC mode selected will alter the handling char-acteristics of your vehicle.

• Adjustable Modes - your vehicle is equipped withselectable driving modes: Default (Street), Sport,Track, Custom, ECO, and Valet. Please refer tothe Owner’s Manual for further information.

• Three-Season Tires - This vehicle may beequipped with three-season tires to enhanceperformance. FCA US LLC does not recom-mend use of these tires when temperatures arebelow 40°F (4°C) or in snow/ice conditions.

Powertrain & Drivetrain

• Engine & Transmission (SRT Engine Break-InRecommendations) - The following tips will behelpful in obtaining optimum performance andmaximum durability for your new SRT Vehicle.Despite modern technology and World Classmanufacturing methods, the moving parts ofthe vehicle must still wear in with each other.This wearing in occurs mainly during the first500 miles (805 km) and continues through thefirst oil change interval.

NOTE:Check engine oil with every refueling and add ifnecessary. Oil and fuel consumption may behigher through the first oil change interval.

• Engine Oil - 0W-40 Full Synthetic Engine Oilrecommended.

• Fuel - for optimum performance, PremiumFuel with a minimum octane rating of 91 PumpOctane Number (97 RON) is recommended.

Automatic Transmission:

• Applying the brake and throttle pedals at thesame time [“brake torquing”] for an extendedperiod of time will illuminate the ETC fault lightrequiring the dealership to clear.

• The vehicle may be equipped with steeringwheel mounted “Paddle Shifters” and an Mgate console shifter. When in the M gate, thevehicle will not shift at red line and must bemanual shifted with either the paddles shiftersor the console shifter. In the M gate, the shiftlight can be programed to assist the driver withoptimal shift points.

S T A R T I N G A N D O P E R AT I N G

Launch Control:

• Your car may be equipped with Launch Controlto improve acceleration performance. It is acti-vated by pressing the LAUNCH button, locatedin the instrument panel switch bank, as well asin the radio within “Race Options”, and willhelp control tire spin for maximum accelera-tion. The launch RPM is also selectablethrough the race options screens. Launch Con-trol is not available for the first 500 miles ofvehicle life.

Manual Transmission:

• Your vehicle is equipped with a 1-4 skip shiftfeature to maximize fuel economy. Under cer-tain conditions, the vehicle will require you toshift the transmission from first to fourth gear,instead of from first gear to second gear. SkipShift is only active while in normal or defaultdriving mode. The detailed conditions of thisfeature are described in the Owner’s Manual.

• Do not attempt to shift the transmission if therear wheels are spinning due to loss of traction.Damage to the transmission may occur.

• When shifting, fully depress the clutch pedaland lift off the accelerator pedal before shiftinggears. Damage to the transmission or clutchmay occur if you do not fully depress the clutchpedal and lift off the accelerator pedal whenshifting.

• Do not rest your hand on the gear shift knobwhile driving. This may cause premature wearof the transmission synchronizers.

• Do not rest your foot on the clutch pedal whiledriving. This may cause premature wear of theclutch.

Body & Exterior

• Fascias and Ground Effects - This vehicle has aunique exterior appearance, which includesSRT unique fascias and ground effects. Theseexterior components define the style and ap-pearance of your new vehicle. They also cause alower approach angle in the front of the vehicleand reduced ground clearance. Due to lowerground clearance, driving your vehicle up steepdriveways, approach ramps, or near parkingblocks may cause damage to the front fasciaand ground effects.

• If your vehicle is equipped with a SATIN FIN-ISH Exterior Body Paint: Use products madespecifically for satin paint, such as SwissvaxOpaque Satin Paint Wax and Dr. Beasley’sSatin Paint and Sealant. Reference Satin Fin-ish Tips Card.

• Caution should be taken when driving throughwater or snow more than 4 inches (100 mm)deep to avoid any potential for damage to yourvehicle.

Electrical

• Your vehicle may be equipped with a premium“harman/kardon” sound system. Your audiomode can be configured using the radio.

• Your vehicle is equipped with SRT performancepages, Drive Modes, Performance Shift Indica-tion, Launch Control, and Valet Mode, whichare displayed in the instrument cluster and theradio.

• Valet Mode is offered on all SRT vehicles. Thedriver can activate and deactivate Valet Modelwith a four-digit PIN they create. Custom PIN’sare created with each use. If you forget yourPIN, disconnect the battery for five minutes toreset..

• Your vehicle may be equipped with a Red keyfob, in addition to the Black key fob. The Redkey is the only key that can unlock the fullhorsepower and torque potential of the SRTHellcat engine, while the Black key fob limitsthe driver to reduced engine output and reduc-tion of transmission shift schedules. In addi-tion, the Red key fob will unlock all the optionswithin Drive Modes. The Black key fob will limityour options within Drive Modes.

• If equipped with an Automatic Transmission,your vehicle offers an ECO mode. ECO modewill change the feel of the throttle response andshift patterns. Please see the Owner’s Manualfor further information on configuration that areautomatically adjusted.

Activation

To unlock the full potential of SiriusXM Guardianin your vehicle, you must activate your SiriusXMGuardian services.

1. Press the Apps icon on the bottom of yourin-vehicle touchscreen.

2. Select the Activate Services icon from your listof apps.

3. Select “Customer Care” to speak with aSiriusXM Guardian Customer Care agent whowill activate services in your vehicle, or select“Enter Email” to activate on the web.

Once you have activated your services, you’re onlya few steps away from using remote commands. To use the SiriusXM Guardian app:

• Once you have activated your SiriusXM Guard-ian services, download the SiriusXM Guardianapp to your mobile device. Use your OwnerAccount login and password to open the app.

• Once on the “Remote” screen, you can beginusing Remote Door Lock/Unlock, Remote Ve-hicle Start, and activate your horn and lightsremotely, if equipped.

• Press the “Location” button on the bottommenu bar of the app to bring up a map to locateyour vehicle or send a location to yourUconnect Navigation, if equipped.

• Press the “Settings” side menu in the upperleft corner of the app to bring up app settingsand access the Assist Call Centers.

In-Vehicle Features

SiriusXM Guardian enhances your ownership anddriving experience by connecting your vehicle toan operable network connection. When connectedto an operable network, you can:

• Place a call to a local Emergency ServicesAgent for emergency assistance.

• Get operator assistance using the ASSIST but-ton on your interior rearview mirror.

Remote Features

The SiriusXM Guardian Mobile App helps youactivate features from a distance. The remotefeatures are:

• Place a SiriusXM Guardian Care call for cus-tomer assistance.

• Use the Vehicle Finder feature to find whereyou parked.

• Use the Send & Go feature to send a navigationroute from your mobile device to your vehicle’snavigation system.

• Receive text or email notifications if your vehi-cle's security alarm goes off.

• Receive stolen vehicle assistance, using GPStechnology to help authorities locate your ve-hicle if it is stolen.

• Remotely lock/unlock your doors, activate yourhorn and lights, and start your vehicle fromvirtually anywhere, using the SiriusXM Guard-ian App from your device. You can also do so bylogging into your owner site, or by callingSiriusXM Guardian Care when your vehicle hasan operable network connection. Services canonly be used where coverage is available; seecoverage map for details.

• Receive monthly Vehicle Health Reports, andAlerts whenever a problem is detected underthe hood.

Vehicle Finder And Send & GoTwo of the most convenient remote features of theSiriusXM Guardian Mobile App are Vehicle Finderand Send & Go.

Vehicle Finder

Vehicle Finder allows you to find the location ofyour vehicle when you have lost it. You can alsosound the alarm and flash the lights to makefinding your vehicle even easier. To find yourvehicle:

1. Press the “Location” tab on the SiriusXMGuardian Mobile App bottom bar.

2. Select the “Vehicle” icon to determine thelocation of your vehicle.

3. Select the “Find Route” button that appears,once your vehicle is located.

4. Select your preferred Navigation App to route apath to your vehicle.

Send & Go

Send & Go allows you to search for a destinationon your mobile device and then send the route toyour vehicle’s native navigation system. To send anavigation route to your vehicle:

1. Press the “Location” tab on the SiriusXMGuardian Mobile App bottom bar.

2. Either type in the destination you would like tonavigate to, or search through one of the cat-egories provided.

3. Select the destination you want to route tofrom the list that appears.

4. Press the “Send To Vehicle” button, and thenconfirm the destination by pressing “Yes,” tosend the navigation route to the UconnectNavigation in your vehicle.

5. Finally, confirm the route inside your vehicle bypressing the “Go Now” option on the pop-upthat appears on the touchscreen, when thevehicle is started.
