Explore the exotic culture of the Zelabia Bedouin during this marvellous performance of music and dance in the heart of the desert. The Wadi Rum is a vast, silent landscape of desert, dotted with yellow and red rocks, sculpted by wind

and time into enchanting silhouettes. While this region is sometimes called the Valley of the Moon —wadi means valley in Arabic —the etymological history of the name likely refers to the topography of a valley surrounded by

high rock formations. Today, the Zelabia Bedouin live nomadically throughout the valley in tents of goat hair just as their ancestors did thousands of years ago. In a desert camp constructed especially to meet visitors, relax upon

traditional Bedouin cushions under the starry night sky. Watch in wonder as the Bedouin perform traditional music and dances in the mystical ambience of the night.

Depart the quay by coach for Mdina. Arrive outside the main gate and be led down the main street to St. Paul’s Cathedral. Flanked by twin bell-towers, the cathedral’s imposing ochre facade opens into an awe-inspiring space bestrewn

with marble, ornate masonry work and richly detailed side chapels. The gilded arched vault within depicts the shipwreck of St. Paul in Malta as described in Acts in a series of breath-taking ceiling panel paintings by the Manno brothers.

Traditionally said to have been built on the site of the Palace of Publius

“The chief man of the island” in Roman times. It was here that St. Paul converted Publius to Christianity. The present Cathedral, dedicated to St. Paul, was built in 1697-1702, after its predecessor had been severely damaged by an

earthquake. It was designed by Lorenzo Gafá, and is architecturally splendid in every way. Guests are invited inside to have a seat at Mdina Cathedral, the sounds of the Organ will start echoing in the Cathedral and the 12-piece Chamber

Choir and 4 soloists will perform a circa 30-minute recital of operatic music to church organ.

No other guests within the stateroom will be eligible for the saving. The 50% saving is calculated based on the full voyage fare of the first guest in the stateroom. The Voyage Fare includes standard meals on-board

(excluding speciality dining) and most entertainment on board as well as selected drinks, but excludes personal expenses (i.e. laundry), shore excursions, travel insurance, travel arrangements to and from the port and
