The Chair of the WG fumonisins in feed welcomed the participants to the10th meeting. No apologies were received.

The agenda was adopted without changes.

In accordance with EFSA’s Policy on Independence and Scientific Decision-Making Processes4 and the Decision of the Executive Director onDeclarations of Interest5, EFSA screened the Annual Declaration ofInterest and the Specific Declaration of Interest filled in by the workinggroup members invited for the present meeting. The members of the working group (WG) discussed the draft opinionon fumonisins and its modified forms in feed, particularly the sectionson Adverse effects in livestock fish, horses and companion animals,risk characterisation, uncertainties, conclusions andrecommendations. The WG went through all comments received from

the CONTAM Panel on the endorsed sections Introduction, Datamethodologies , Toxicokinetics, Mode of action and Feed occurrencedata, and addressed the pending issues. Tasks were distributed. TheChair of the WG agreed to present the full opinion at the 89thCONTAM Panel meeting on 20-22 March 2018.
