STORIA DELLE NOSTRE TORRI FAROOUR LIGHTING TOWERS HISTORY

L’OttagonoGli Ottagoni sono quattro isolette della Laguna Veneta, così denominate da quando, nel 1571, la Repubblica di Venezia decise di costruirvi un forte su ciascuna, appunto di forma ottagonale. Queste quattro fortificazioni rientrano nel Sistema difensivo della laguna di Venezia.

Alcuni ipotizzano che il progettista di queste strutture sia stato Jacopo Sansovino, ma più probabilmente le avrebbe ideate Michele Sanmicheli nell’ambito di un progetto difensivo che comprendeva anche il forte di Sant’Andrea. Gli Ottagoni furono costruiti in un momento in cui Venezia era in particolare apprensione per la crescita della potenza turca. È possibile che sui quattro siti sorgessero già delle postazioni militari.

Italtower si è ispirata a queste costruzioni per rendere le nuove torri faro più resistenti e durevoli nel tempo. Grazie alla ricerca dei nostri progettisti tutto questo adesso è diventato realtà e la nostra gamma di prodotti si posiziona nel mercato tra i primi posti per la qualità.

The OctagonThe Ottagoni are four islets of the Venetian Lagoon, so called since when, in 1571, the Republic of Venice decided to build a fort on each of them, exactly octagonal. These four fortifications are part of the defensive system of the Venice lagoon.

Some hypothesize that the designer of these structures was Jacopo Sansovino, but more probably Michele Sanmicheli conceived them as part of a defensive project that also included the Sant’Andrea fort. The Octagons were built at a time when Venice was particularly apprehensive about the growth of Turkish power. It is possible that on the four sites there were already military posts.

Italtower was inspired by these constructions to make the new lighting towers more resistant and to last over time. Thanks to the research of our designers all this has now become a reality and our product range is positioned in the market among the first places for quality.

Astrid, with its new design, leads to a higher level thanks to its quality. With a height of 8.5m and 4 ledlights of 350W is one of the most powerful towers in the category, with 4900 m2 of lighting. Well-groomed in every detail it comes without external screws in the canopy in order to ensure greater protection against weathering, completed with a fully epoxy powder painted structure. The internal electrical panel is equipped with foam gaskets and the lockable doors make Astrid an absolutely safe and effective product in every situation.

Il quadro elettrico della Basetower è composto da spina e presa CEE 32 A, pulsante per salita e discesa del palo telescopico, MCB per ogni faro e una chiave di sicurezza per evitare operazioni non autorizzate.

Gli stabilizzatori possono essere piegati in modo da facilitare il trasposto con la torre chiusa, può essere movimentata da entrambi i lati con un muletto o da un lato con il transpallet. La particolare configurazione di questa tipologia di stabilizzatori rende ottimale la stabilizzazione della torre aumentando la resistenza al vento.

Le nostre torri faro URANO sono caratterizzate da 4 stabilizzatori regolabili, guide per forche muletto, un timone reclinabile con ruotino per facilitare spostamenti e stoccaggio della torre. Inoltre vengono fornite 2 prese a 230 V entrata-uscita e MCB per l’accensione dei fari.

La caratteristica principale di questa torre è la possibilità di utilizzare un qualsiasi gruppo elettrogeno, di qualsiasi marca, fino a 20 KVA. Questo grazie a 2 barre a scorrimento che possono essere regolate a seconda della grandezza del gruppo, facendo di URANO una tra le torri faro più flessibili della nostra gamma.

Our URANO lighting towers are characterized by 4 adjustable stabilizers, fork lift guides, a reclining rudder with a small wheel to facilitate movement and storage of the tower. In addition, two 230V input-output sockets and MCB are supplied for switching on the lights.

The main feature of this tower is the possibility of using any generator, of any brand, up to 20 KVA. This thanks to 2 sliding bars that can be adjusted according to the size of the group, making URANO one of the most flexible lighting towers in our range.

Una lampada ad alogenuri metallici è una lampada elettrica che produce luce mediante un arco elettrico attraverso una miscela gassosa di mercurio vaporizzato e alogenuri metallici. È un tipo di lampada a scarica di gas ad alta intensità (HID). Sviluppati negli anni ‘60, sono simili alle lampade a vapori di mercurio, ma contengono composti di alogenuri metallici aggiuntivi nel tubo ad arco al quarzo, che migliorano l’efficienza e la resa cromatica della luce. A metal-halide lamp is an electrical lamp that produces light by an electric arc through a gaseous mixture of vaporized mercury and metal halides. It is a type of high-intensity discharge (HID) gas discharge lamp. Developed in the 1960s, they are similar to mercury vapor lamps, but contain additional metal halide compounds in the quartz arc tube, which improve the efficiency and color rendition of the light. As a result, metal-halide lamps have high luminous efficacy of around 75-100 lumens per watt, which is about twice than the mercury vapor lights and 3 to 5 times than incandescent lights and produce an intense white light. Lamp life is 6,000 to 15,000 hours. They are used for wide areas overhead lighting of commercial, industrial, and public spaces, such as parking lots, sports arenas, factories, and retail stores,as well as residential security lighting and automotive headlamps.

The metal halide lamps operate at a pressure between 4 and 20 atmospheres, and require special fixtures to operate safely, as well as an electrical ballast. They require a warm-up period of several minutes to reach full light output.With the introduction of specialized metal-halide mixtures, metal-halide lamps are now available with a correlated color temperature from 3,000 K to over 20,000 K. Color temperature can vary slightly from lamp to lamp, and this effect is noticeable in places where many lamps are used. Because the lamp’s color characteristics tend to change during lamp’s life, color is measured after the bulb has been burned for 100 hours (seasoned) according to ANSI standards.

LED is an acronym for Light Emitting Diode. The first LED was developed by Nick Holonyak in 1962.

The strength of LED tecnology is based on the ability to get a high brightness,efficiency and reliability. In fact the lifetime of the LEDs is higher than the lifetime of the classic light sourcers especially in conditions of mechanical stress.Moreover, they do not require complex power supply circuits and have an high speed switching.

La forza della tecnologia LED si basa sulla capacità di ottenere un’alta luminosità, efficienza e affidabilità.
