DIRECTOR’S MESSAGEReno is a great place to be in the fall and winter. The Parks, Recreation, and Community Services department has many activities that you can participate in. We would

invite you participate in one of our many senior programs, especially the Senior Winter Games. Come meet new people and enjoy friendly competition.

Learn to ski or snowboard at Sky Tavern. Sky Tavern is owned by the City of Reno and operated by Sky Tavern,

a volunteer lead non-profit. There is no better or affordable place to learn to ski or snowboard.

Our parks remain busy as the temperature decreases. Enjoy seasonal birding opportunities and the views provided within our parks.

January is the time to make the commitment to your health. Come and see our newly renovated facilities and fitness equipment. We have everything you need to be successful in your health needs.

Thank you for your support and I hope to see you at our parks and facilities.
