Thank you for your interest is supporting Elyria Robotics! Your sponsorship provides needed funds for team and tournament registration fees, transportation, and robot building materials. Without the generous contributions from our sponsors our program would not be possible. Elyria Robotics purpose is to encourage middle and high school students to pursue post-secondary education in STEAM education through participation in state and worldwide robotics competitions. The robotics team competes in 8-10 tournaments throughout the competition season. In the 2017-2018 season we qualified six teams for the statewide tournament (finishing as high as 3rd) and also qualified a high school team for the World Championship. Qualifying for the Vex World Championships put our team against over 450 teams from over 60 countries. Only the top 5% of teams in the world qualify for the World Championship. We also host the annual Pioneer Classic at Elyria High School which brings over 30 teams and 100+ students from around the state to Elyria High School for an exciting day of robotics tournament action.
