Cuyuna Range Mountain Bike Trails – The world-renowned 25-mile, single track, mountain bike trails offer a thrill level for everyone. Trails range from beginner to expert and include many obstacles such as bridges, ramps, teeter-totters, and natural challenges: hugging the edge of the cliff, sharp turns and angles,

and rugged terrain. You’ll experience wildlife and breathtaking views of the crystal clear turquoise Crosby Mine lakes. A biker’s paradise.

Canoe Trips – Float down the river while enjoying the wildlife and nature’s beauty along the way! Canoe trip participants will be shuttled to and from the drop-off location, where canoes will be unloaded and put into the river. There will be a brief instruction of the basics of canoeing before getting underway. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged.

Horseback Riding – Horses are the perfect way to see Minnesota’s beautiful northwoods! At nearby Outback Stables, you’ll enjoy a guided trail ride through the beautiful Pillsbury State Forest.

Zip Line Tours – At nearby Mount Ski Gull, an exhilarating 2 hour tour offers beautiful views from the highest elevation in the Brainerd Lakes area.

The memory of a lifetime awaits you in Madden’s waterski school. Our expert staff will instruct you through all your water sport activities. (We GUARANTEE your success in getting up on the skis if you reserve a one-hour lesson— or the first half hour is on us!)

Enjoy Madden’s Four Swimming Pools – 3 indoor, one outdoor, whirlpools, saunas, and kids’ wading pool.

Kayaks – Enjoy a relaxing paddle around Steamboat Bay. You can either go solo or bring along a friend in the double kayaks.

Canoes – Head on out for a trip around Birch Island and get a new perspective on the wildlife.

Paddle Boats – Head out on the lake for a scenic tour around Steamboat Bay. Bring along a fishing rod and see if you can catch a Gull Lake whopper (4 person)!

Stand Up Paddle Boards – Enjoy this ‘quiet sport’ as a core strengthening workout...or purely for sightseeing beautiful Gull Lake.

Water Bikes – You’ll see a whole new view while working out on the water on your individual water bike (1 person).

Banana Boat – Take a ride on the 12-person tube that will leave you holding on for your life.

Fishing Boats – If you are in search of the best hot spot, grab a fishing boat with a 15 hp motor to find the top spot!

Tritoon – You’ll enjoy a smooth ride, easy maneuverability, and bar-style seating with the 115 hp powered Avalon pontoon.

Pontoons – Enjoy an afternoon cruising around the lake at your own pace, or we’ll provide a driver for your ride.

Speedboat – If cruising is more your style, check out the runabout, perfect for pulling skiers/tubers.

Our recreation team is always available to put together a team-building event or guide you through some friendly competition in a sport you’ve never tried.
