Inspiring Women Worldwide Akiko Moriyama, Japanese, President, Halenowa Inc. I am a trainer and consultant specializing in the area of interpersonal / intercultural communication and diversity. In 2017, I set up my own company, Halenowa Inc., a name coined in Japanese meaning “a circle of sunshine”. The aim is to empower people to live their lives happily in diverse ways, so that they can contribute to create a sustainable society and community even in an indirect way. Prior to becoming independent, I worked for 10 years at global companies, Accenture and Goldman Sachs, as a Learning & Development consultant and HR professional. Since my son was born in 2015, I have been trying to achieve my own worklife balance, and currently spend a lot of time with him in nature too doing gardening, growing organic vegetables, hiking, and walking on the beach. I dream of a world where all the children and adults are respected to live life as natural whole selves, receiving and appreciating gifts from the nature and passing them forward to future generations. Amanda Chehrezad, American, Senior Member Development Manager, USA Girl Scouts Overseas Amanda Chehrezad currently serves as the Senior Member Development Manager for USA Girl Scouts Overseas. Since joining USAGSO in 2016 she has taken on the responsibility of strategic membership, marketing, and overseas operations for Girl Scouts in 90 countries. Prior to Girl Scouts Overseas, Amanda served as the TOMODACHI Women's Leadership Program Manager at the U.S.Japan Council where she provided expertise on women’s empowerment and developed longterm program goals and objectives. Formerly, Amanda was responsible for the strategic management of multimilliondollar law enforcement capacity building projects as part of the U.S. Department of State’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Section in Mexico City. Amanda holds an MBA from Temple University, and a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. Ms. Chehrezad currently resided in Tokyo with her husband and three children Annette Karseras, British, Consultant – Coach, Caizen カイ善 I am an independent practitioner specializing in culturally creative ways of achieving betterment & strategic change for professionals and their organizations. Based between Japan and the UK, I work with executives, managers, their teams & families too. I believe this crossgenerational, crosscultural perspective keeps the present and future, local and global, connected in healthy ways.  ChiaFang  Li,  Tawainese,  General  Manager,  Mars  Japan  

I  am  a  Taiwanese,  passionate  in  strengthen  the  awareness,  acceptance  and  action  for  D&I  in  Asian  business  world.  Mars  culture  based  on  the  5  Principles,  deep  belief  in  Associates  and  the  humility  of  the  people  is  driving  for  inclusive  environment  and  respect  differences.  Being  a  private  own  family  company  provides  a  unique  environment  on  top  of  our  vision  in  creating  a  better  world  for  pets,  naturally  supports  the   inclusive   culture   and  work  &   balance.   I   am   thrilled   to   be   part   of   driving   such   Pet   loving   culture   to  accelerate  the  inclusive  environment  in  Japan.   I  started  career   in  Japan,  then  was  privileged  to  work  for  multinational  organisations   (Danone  HK,  PepsiCo  HK/Japan/Greater  China  and  Brita  HK)  which  built  my  global  perspective  and  international  experience  in  diverse  market  dynamics,  full  operational  lifecycle  and  different  corporate  cultures  with  diverse  purposes.  Together  with  Mars  we  can  continue  taking  inclusive  actions  in  live  to  accelerate  the  inclusive  harmony  in  Japan.        

 David  Shirt,  British,  Japan  Country  Head,  Macquarie  Group  

David   joined  Macquarie   Capital   Securities   (Japan)   Limited   in   February   2015.   Prior   to   joining  Macquarie,  David  was  the  Head  of  Equity  at  Jefferies  Japan  and  worked  for  several  years  at  JP  Morgan  Tokyo.  In  his  final  three  years   at   JP  Morgan   Tokyo   he  was   the   Head   of   Japan   Equity   Distribution.   David   has   spent   17   years   in   Japan   and  proactively  contributes  to  numerous  local  community  organisations,  supported  by  the  Macquarie  Group  Foundation.  During   recent  years  he  has   raised  nearly  $US  100,000   for   local  charities,  and   is  also  a  Board  member  of  Refugees  International   Japan.   David   is   a   graduate   of   Sheffield   University   in   the   UK,   with  majors   in   Japanese   and   Business  studies.    

 Erika  Shirai,  Japanese,  General  Manager,  Diversity  Development  Office,  Nissan  Motor  Co.,  Ltd.  

I   am  General  Manager,  Diversity  Development  Office,  Nissan  Motor   Co.,   Ltd   in   Japan.     After  working   for  some  telecom  /consumer  electronics/IT  companies  of  different  country  origins  for  10+  years,  I  joined  Nissan  for  its  global  growth  potential  and  excellence  in  diversity  in  2008.  Since  then,  my  versatility  as  sales  and  marketing  as  well  as  planning  professional  helped  me  to  work   in  various   locations  and  entities   including  Ministry  of  Economy,  Trade  and  Industry  in  Japan.  I  have  lived  in  the  U.S.A,  Singapore  and  Switzerland  and  now  reside  in  Tokyo  with  my  family  including  ten-­‐year-­‐old  twin  boys.     I   look  forward  to  speaking  about  how  talented  women  can  run  up  to  the  higher

 Fiona  Cully,  British,  Director,  Diversity  &  Inclusion  for  International,  The  New  York  Times    

Fiona  joined  The  New  York  Times  in  September  last  year  as  Director,  Diversity  &  Inclusion  for  International.  She   is  an  experienced  Senior  Human  Resources   leader  who  has  held  a  number  of   International  roles   including  VP,  Human  Resources,  EMEA  at  Turner  Broadcasting,  HR  Executive  at  News  Corporation  and  VP,  HR  International  for  Fox  Interactive  Media.  Prior  to  News  Corp,  she  was  a  Senior  Reward  Consultant  with  KPMG  and  Grant  Thornton.  She  has  led  a  number  of  significant  and  challenging  change  management  projects  such  as  post-­‐acquisition  HR  integration  at  Warner  Bros  and  a  major  growth  /  expansion  project  at  Fox  Interactive  Media.  Fiona  has  worked  in  the  media  and  digital  sectors  however  due  to  her  consulting  background  she  has  worked  across  a  range  of  sectors.  Fiona  is  British  and   lives   in   London  with   her   family;   she   holds   an  MA   in  Human  Resource  Management   and   is   a  member   of   the  Chartered  Institute  of  Personnel  and  Development  (CIPD).      

 Francesco  Fini,  Italian,  Deputy  Head  of  EU  Delegation  to  Japan,  EU  Delegation  to  Japan  

Mr  Francesco  Fini  assumed  the  post  of  Deputy  Head  of  the  Delegation  of  the  European  Union  to  Japan  in  September  2016,  after  serving  as  Head  of  Division  responsible  for  the  EU  sanctions  policy  in  the  European  External  Action   Service   (EEAS).   In   this   capacity,   he   was   responsible   for   the   negotiation   on   sanctions   for   the   Iran   nuclear  agreement.   Prior   to   that,   he   has   been   dealing   from   2005   to   2008  with   the   external   aspects   of   the   fight   against  terrorism.   He   started   his   career   in   the   European   Commission   in   1999   in   the   Secretary   General   where   he  was   in  charge   of   the   coordination   of   the   preparation   of   Foreign  Affairs   and   ECOFIN  Councils   as  well   as   of   the   European  Council.   Francesco   Fini   has   also   been   advisor   for   economic   and   social   affairs   to   former   Commission   President  Jacques  Delors  from  1997  to  1999.  He  has  a  Master  in  European  Economics  from  the  College  of  Europe  in  Bruges  and  a  finance  and  economics  degree  from  the  Solvay  Business  School  in  Brussels.    

 Heather  McLeish,  American,  Senior  Manager,  Climate  Change  and  Sustainability  Services  CCaSS),  Ernst  &  Young  ShinNiho  LLC  

I  am  a  Senior  Manager  in  EY  Japan’s  Climate  Change  and  Sustainability  Services  (CCaSS)  practice.  In  addition  to  being  responsible  for  the  overall  business  development  of  the  CCaSS  team,  I  focus  how  institutional  investors  are  pushing   companies   for   better   disclosure   and   reporting   on   non-­‐financial   risks.   I   bring   my   experience   in   Investor  Relations   to   the   topic   of   sustainability   to   better   merge   business   and   stakeholder   interests   and   create   practical  solutions   for   companies.  My   focus   is   on   practical   applications   of   sustainability   to   increase   business   resiliency   for  businesses  -­‐particularly  Japanese  businesses  -­‐  with  a  focus  on  raising  awareness   in  the  financial  services  and  asset  management   industry.  Prior   to  working  with  Ernst  &  Young   in   Japan   I  worked   in   financial   services  and  real  estate

 Janelle  Sasaki,  American,  Executive  Director  -­‐  EY  Gender  Brand,  Marketing  &  Communications,  Japan  Area  Leader  -­‐  Women  Athletes  Business  Network  (WABN)    

Based  in  Tokyo,  Janelle  Sasaki  advises  on  global  human  resources  practices  in  the  workplace  for  Japan  and  throughout  the  Asia-­‐Pacific  Region.    Thanks  to  her  experience  in  diversity  and  inclusion,  Janelle  guides  Japanese  and  multinational   clients   on   designing   and   executing  workforce,  work   style   and  marketplace   approaches   to   create   an  inclusive   culture.     She   is   a   frequent   international   speaker   on   diversity   and   inclusion.     In   recent   years,   she   has  expanded  her  role  to  include  brand,  marketing  and  communications  for  gender  diversity  and  women  entrepreneurs.    Janelle  was  named  the  EY  Women  Athlete  Business  Network  Japan  Area  Leader  in  2018.    Prior  to  her  role  at  EY  in  Japan,  she  served  as  the  Inclusion  &  Diversity  Leader  for  Cisco  Systems  Japan  G.K.  and  the  Asia-­‐Pacific  region,  where  she  launched  the  company-­‐wide  Inclusion  &  Diversity  business  strategy,  and  addressed  workplace  challenges.          

 Jennifer  Shinkai,  British,  Diversity  and  Inclusion  Consultant  and  Leadership  Coach,  Jennifer  Shinkai  Coaching  

As   a   Diversity   and   Inclusion   Consultant   and   Leadership   Coach,   Jennifer   Shinkai   specializes   in   helping   her  clients  create  and  communicate  change  in  diverse  teams  through  facilitation  and  coaching.  She  is  passionate  about  developing  women's  participation   in   the  workforce  and  runs  an  English  Speaking  Lean   In  Chapter  supporting  both  corporate  professionals  and  entrepreneurs.Originally  from  the  UK,  Jennifer  holds  an  MA  (Oxon)  in  English  Language  and  Literature  from  St.  Hugh's  College,  Oxford  University  and  is  a  Certified  Professional  Coach  from  the  International  Coach  Academy.  With  almost  twenty  years'  experience  in  Japan,  she  has  held  a  variety  of  management  roles  across  Learning  and  Development,  Marketing,  Sales  Operations  and  Sales.  Her  hands-­‐on  experience  in  change  management  and   communications   for   a   cross   cultural   team   gives   her   a   unique   insight   in   how   to   operate   effectively   as   a  professional  in  Japan.  Jennifer  is  known  for  her  energy,  enthusiasm  and  ablity  to  connect  people.  

   

 Kaoru  Inahara,  Japanese,  Director,  Large  Advertiser  and  Agency  Marketing,  Google  

Kaoru  joined  Google  Japan  last  year  as  Director  of  Marketing.  She  is  responsible  for  Google  Japan’s  Brand  and  Business  Marketing,  driving  thought  leadership  and  business  impact.  She  is  excited  to  be  part  of  a  company  that  values  and  strives  to  drive  positive  change  in  workstyle  reform  and  diversity,  including  women’s  participation  in  the  workforce.   Kaoru   has   an   MBA   from   Insead,   and   has   had   a   number   of   international   roles   spanning   marketing,  strategy   and   business   development   in   The   Netherlands,   Belgium,   and   Japan.   Prior   to   joining   Google,   Kaoru   was  General  Manager  and  Board  Member  at  Philips  Japan.  She  is  also  a  Mother  to  3  boys  aged  3  to  11  years  old.

 Kumi  Ito,  Japanese,  CEO,  Name  4U  Lifecare  Inc  

Kumi  is  CEO,  4U  Lifecare  Inc(4UL).,  newly  started  in  2016  as  Healthcare-­‐IT  startup,  expanding  new  Uber-­‐like  platform  for   nurse   and   hospitals   /clinics   /facilities,   so-­‐called   “Nadeshiko-­‐nurse”.   Prior   to   joining   4UL,   Kumi   was   CMO,   GE  Healthcare   Japan,   responsible   for  overall  marketing  activities   for   Japan  healthcare  business.  Kumi  worked  over  20  years  at  IBM  and  Sony  for  marketing  area,  strategy  area,  including  global  assignment.  Her  expertise  is  marketing  and  strategy,  and  still  continuing  teaching  at  university,  having  lots  lectures/workshops,  and  writing  books.  To  be  honest,  her  most  focus  area  is  singing  Jazz  and  taking  care  of  her  family,  Kozue  (22)  and  Nob(husband).

 Mengjuan  Li,  Chinese,  Head  of  Human  Resources,    Johnson  &  Johnson,  Family  of  Companies  in  Japan  

I’m  the  Head  of  Human  Resources  at  J&J  Family  of  Companies  in  Japan.  Over  my  20  year  experience  with  Johnson  &  Johnson,  I  have  been  working  in  different  countries  and  business  sectors  and  truly  enjoying  the  x-­‐cultural  environment  and  learning.    I’m  passionate  about  talent  management,  leadership  development  &  coaching,  x-­‐cultural  learning  and  energy  management  etc.  My  aspiration  is  to  help  more  Asian  talents  to  be  successful  in  a  global  setting  and   making   tangible   impact   in   building   the   healthiest   and   most   diverse   workforce   for   the   organization.   I   enjoy  traveling  and  am  now  living  in  Tokyo  with  my  family.      

 Miyuki  Suzuki,  Japanese,  President,  Cisco  Asia  Pacific  and  Japan  

Miyuki   is   President   for   Cisco   Asia   Pacific   and   Japan   (APJ),   and   is   responsible   for   the   region’s   strategy,  accelerating  business  growth,  and  ensuring  Cisco  APJ   is   the   industry’s  preferred   IT  solutions  partner  and  provider.  Miyuki   joined  Cisco   in  2015,  as  President  and  General  Manager   for  Cisco  Japan,  and  during  her  tenure  turned  the  business  around  to  achieve  sustained  growth.  Miyuki  has  an  honours  degree   from  Oxford  University,  and  over  35  years   business   experience,   predominantly   in   IT.   As  well   as  Asia   Pacific   and   Japan,   she   has  worked   in   Europe,   the  Middle  East,  and  North  America.  She  has  held  a  variety  of  leadership  roles,  including  President  of  KVH  Co  Ltd;  CEO  of  LexisNexis  Asia  Pacific;  Managing  Director  for  Reuters  South  East  Asia;  and  served  as  Jetstar  Japan’s  inaugural  CEO.  Miyuki   has   a   passion   for   talent   development   and   building   diverse   teams.   She   is   an   innovative,   entrepreneurially  minded  leader,  who  leads  with  a  long-­‐term  view  on  vision  and  strategy.      

 Naoko  Nemoto,  Japanese,  Economist,  Asian  Development  Bank  Institute,  Tokyo  

Naoko   Nemoto   is   an   economist   at   the   Asian   Development   Bank   Institute,   Tokyo.   Her   research   interests  include  monetary  policy,  financial  markets,  financial  inclusion  and  structural  reform.  As  former  Managing  Director  at  Standard  &  Poor’s  Ratings  Services,  Naoko  was  heading   the  Financial  Service  group  covering   financial   institutions,  insurance  and  brokerage   firms   in   Japan.     She  also   led   research  and   thought-­‐leadership  activities  on   Japan-­‐related  agenda  and  Asia-­‐Pacific  financial  institutions  and  served  as  the  primary  spokesperson  in  the  region.  Before  that  she  was   an   economist   and   analyst   at   the   Bank   of   Japan.   She   has   authored   three   books   on   finance.   Naoko   has   a  bachelor’s   degree   in   Law   from  Waseda   University,   Tokyo,   a  Master   of   Business   Administration   degree   from   the  University  of  Chicago  and  a  PhD  in  finance  from  Hitotsubashi  University,  Tokyo.    She  serves  as  a  board  member  of  Government  Pension  Investment  Fund  Japan,  Chubu  Electric  Power  Co.,  and  Yokohama  Bank.

 Norishige  Morimoto,  Japanese,  Vice  President,  IBM  Research  and  Development,  Japan  

Norishige  (Noly)  Morimoto  joined  IBM  Yamato  Laboratory  in  1987  as  a  hardware  engineer  after  graduation  from   Keio   University.   He   earned   a   Master   of   Science   in   Electronic   Engineering   and   Computer   Science   from   the  Massachusetts   Institute  of  Technology,  and   joined   IBM  Research-­‐Tokyo   in  1995.  He   led  multiple   research  projects  such  as  Digital  Watermarking,  and  worked  as  a  managing  consultant  to  deliver  new  technology  to  clients.  In  2005  he  lead  hardware  research  group  and  was  appointed  to  be  an  Executive  Assistant  to  Senior  VP  of  IBM  Research  in  NY  in  2006.  In  2008,  Noly  led  the  work  to  expand  the  global  IBM  research  network  to  growth  countries,  and  in  2009,  he  was  appointed  to  Director  of  IBM  Research-­‐Tokyo.  In  2015,  Noly  took  a  new  position  as  VP  &  CTO  in  IBM  Asia  Pacific  in   Singapore,   and   in   2017,   he  was   appointed   as   VP   of   IBM   Research  &  Development   in   Japan.   Noly   has   over   20  patents  in  digital  watermarking  and  copyright  protection,  and  several  publications  in  innovation  management  area        

 Rosalia  Thomas,  Cuban,  Director  of  Diversity  &  Inclusion,  IBM  

Rosalia  Thomas  is  the  Director  of  Diversity  &  Inclusion  at  IBM.  Her  team  is  responsible  for  the  development  of  diversity,   inclusion,   cultural   competency  and  work-­‐life   strategies   that   fully   align  with   IBM’s  business   strategies.  This  is  accomplished  by  working  closely  with  diversity  councils,  internal  and  external  partners  through  the  formation  of  collaborative  relationships  with  national,  regional  and  international  organizations  with  the  sole  purpose  of  driving  IBM’s  diversity  eminence.  Rosalia   is  an  experienced  HR  professional  with  20  years   in  human  resources.  Previously  she  was  Human  Resources  Director  for  the  United  State  East  operations.  Rosalia  is  a  founding  Board  member  of  the  Women’s  Executive  Committee  for  Habitat  for  Humanity.  She  is  a  member  of  Leadership  Cobb,  and  is  on  the  board  at  St.  Joseph's  Hospital.  She  has  served  on  the  board  of  Center  for  Puppetry  Arts,  Georgia  Campaign  for  Adolescent  Pregnancy  Prevention,  and  Kennesaw  University  Coles  College  Executive  MBA  Program.      

 Sachiko  Maruyama,  Japanese,  Representative,  Global  Women’s  Association  

I  am  the  representative  of  Global  Women’s  Association.  Besides  my  own  business,  I  set  up  this  association  to   achieve   the   following   three  missions.   ?   To  make   the  opportunity   for  Global   Exchange.   ?   To  bring  up   a   kind  of  business  with  sharing  of  experience  and  knowledge.  ?  To  make  friends  in  the  world  to  share  joys.  Because  of  having  started  this  activity  in  2011,  I  moved  to  Malaysia  and  started  new  Business.  It  is  my  dream  to  contribute  to  support  women  and  girls  who  are   trying   to   improve   their   carrier  and  start   their  own  business  overseas.   I  hope  our  global  network  can  help  to  educate  young  generation  and  grow  each  other.  Through  joining  Win  Conference  Japan  for  the  first  time,  I  am  inspired  to  connect  our  activity  with  Win  Conference.

Steliana   van   de   Rijt-­‐Economu   is   a   mother   of   two,   author     and   HR   leadership   consultant   with   broad  international  experience.    Steliana  grew  up  in  communist  Romania,  spent  some  of  her  youth  in  London  and  now  lives  with  her   family   in  The  Netherlands.   She  believes   that   the  world  would  be  a  better  place  when  more  women  and  mothers  ‘lean  in’  to  take  formal  leadership  positions  in  society.    In  2017  she  started  a  dialogue  with  mothers  from  all  over  the  world  via  her  .’mothersasleaders.com’  blog.  She  interviewed  12  mothers  from  four  different  continents  and  wrote   about   their   real   struggles   and   life   lessons.     Her   mission   in   life   is   ‘to   give   people   all   over   the   world   the  opportunity  to  discover  their  uniqueness  and  the  power  to  follow  their  dreams’.  When  she  was  ten  years  old  and  still  living  in  Romania  she  dreamt  to  one  day  visit  Japan.To  speak  at  the  WIN  Tokyo  is  her  dream  come  true.

 Wenche  Andersen,  Norwegian,  President  and  Managing  Director,  Kongsberg  Maritime  (KM)  China  

Wenche  H.  Andersen  is  the  Managing  Director  of  Kongsberg  Maritime  (KM)  China,  located  in  Shanghai.  KM  is  a  BA  serving  the  Maritime,  O&G,  fishery  and  subsea  industry  within  the  KONGSBERG  GROUP.  Andersen  served  24  years  with   FMCTechnologies   an   international  Oil  &  Gas   company  where   she  held   various   international   leadership  positions.   Her   last   position   was   Global   Director   providing   Subsea   equipment   globally.   She   was   accountable   for  strategic  planning,  BD,  project  execution,  subcontracting,  fabrication  and  handover  to  the  customer.  Her  operations  governed  office  locations,  supply  chain  and  fabrication  sites  in  USA,  Brazil,  Norway,  Singapore,  Africa  and  Asia.  She  joined  KONGSBERG  in  2016  as  EVP  and  Chief  Administration  Officer.

 Yoshie  Shigemitsu,  Japanese,  Executive  Vice  President  of  Shigemitsu  Industry  Co.  Ltd.  

After  graduation  of  university,  I  worked  as  reporter  at  local  radio  station  in  Kumamoto.  I  had  a  good  reputation  on  my  reporting  with  charming  smile  and  bright  voice.  Even  now  people  told  I  was  a  legendary  reporter  handed  down.  While  after,  I  moved  to  USA  for  study  Hotel  &  Restaurant  Management  at  college  in  NY.  I  crossed  from  NY  to  La  for  two  months   by   drive   the   car.   I   lived   near   Times   Square   in  Manhattan.   And   I   used   to  work   at   company   on   5th.   I  returned  to  Japan  due  to  serious  sickness  of  father  in  1996.  In  the  same  year,  I  joined  to  Shigemitsu  Industry  Co.  Ltd.  I  am  aiming  to  become  “Bridge  between  Asia  and  Japan  through  the  food”  as  a  representative  of  marketing  symbol  of  Ajisen  Ramen.  I  also  help  a  role  connecting  the  overseas  Chinese  network  and  the  Japan  Network.  From  2011  I  am  active   as   a   director   member   for   Global  Women’s   Association   to   support   young   generation.  My   favorite   word   is  “infinite  possibility”.      

 Yuta  Hasumi,  Japanese,  Diversity  &  Inclusion  Evangelist    

Yuta   Hasumi   is   Diversity   &   Inclusion   Evangelist.   He   leads   the   worldwide   Diversity   &   Inclusion   business  strategy   and   implementation.   Yuta   advises   organizations   and   drives   leadership   accountability   through   goals   and  metrics   to   achieve   a   diverse   &   inclusive  workforce,   workplace,   and  marketplace   for   business   growth   around   the  globe.  Prior  to  current  D&I  consultant   job,  he  has  been  Head  of  Diversity  &  Inclusion  for  multinational  companies.  Yuta  consulted  business  leaders  on  the  attraction,  development  and  retention  of  diverse  talent  in  Japan,  Korea  and  the  United  States.  His  designed  Women’s  Leadership  Program  was  recognized  as  one  of  the  best  business  cases  in  Asia  Pacific.  Yuta  obtained  a  MBA  with  honors  in  Human  Resources  and  Diversity  Management  at  Waseda  Business  School,  and  holds  a  BA  Degree  in  International  Law  at  Waseda  University.    He  is  a  Director  of  the  GEWEL.  Active  in  Membership  Committee  at  the  U.S.-­‐Japan  Council,  he  serves  as  Ambassador  for  Change  for  the  RoundTable  Global.      

 Zane  Zumbahlen,  American,  Vice  President,  Human  Resources,  IBM  Japan  

Zane   Zumbahlen   is   the   Vice   President,   Human   Resources   for   IBM   Japan,   covering   HR   for   IBM’s   23k  employees  who  drive  greater  than  $8b  revenue  per  year.    Zane  has  21  years  with  IBM,  holding  positions  in  various  business  units  (Hardware,  Software,  Consulting,  Corporate,  Sales,  and  Research)  and  functions  within  HR  (Generalist,  Talent,  Acquisitions,  Compensation,  Business  Development,  Staffing,  and  HR/IT).    He  has  worked  across  the  US  and  been   on   assignment   in   Sweden.     External   certifications   include   Society   for   HR  Management   [Professional   in   HR  (PHR)]   and   World   at   Work   [Certified   Compensation   Professional   (CCP)].     He   is   passionate   about   strategic   HR,  diversity,  optimizing  talent,  and  being  provocative  with  work  being  done.  Mr.  Zumbahlen  attended  Michigan  State  University,  MLRHR  and  University  of  Illinois,  BS  Psychology.  He  is  married  to  a  wonderful  woman,  Tracy,  and  has  two  children  –  son  Joel  (11)  and  daughter  Zada  (8).    He  coaches  youth  baseball  and  enjoys  playing  tennis  and  volleyball.
