The Kit Chinese is a glossy beauty and style newspaper section curated by editor Renée Tse, who also creates original content for a discerning audience with a particular interest in glamour, luxury and the Asian market. It is distributed through select Chinese Canadian newspapers in Toronto and Vancouver.

M I N G P A O D A I L Y newspaper is a Chinese newspaper published in Vancouver and Toronto since 1993. The daily newspaper publishes a wide variety of content including special weekly supplements for real estate and show business.

我們有幸前往紐約率先一睹新品真身,同時更與Kim 見面,暢談有關她獨特的化妝造型和標誌性獨角獸頭髮(這次她以紫色眉毛示人),以及她對下一個韓國美容風潮的看法。

妳試過最瘋狂的化妝是哪個? 「有一段時間,我試過漂白眉毛,沒化妝的時候看起來就像一個外星人BB,有時會配上強烈的煙熏眼妝,就更誇張了。」

妳的頭髮下一個想染的顏色是什麼? 「其實這三年來我幾乎試遍所有顏色。最近我在YouTube見到一個很酷的染色技術,它叫水彩染髮(watercolouring),我很有興趣。」

怎麼樣的妝最合適妳? 「我傾向乾淨清爽的妝容,因為我的頭髮已經夠搶眼了。然而,我還是會用液體眼線筆畫貓眼線,還會玩唇色,例如鮮亮的橙色,更會嘗試不同的眉色。還有,會塗很多睫毛膏。」

妳有什麼壞習慣? 「我有嚴重的咬指甲習慣,幸好韓國的美甲師幫我修補了這個壞習所慣帶來的缺陷!」

有什麼會令妳感到害怕嗎? 「當我去旅行要住酒店,有時會被酒店的客房嚇壞。」

妳最近有沒有追看什麼節目? 「Sex and the City 重播。」

你早上醒來會做的第一件事是什麼? 「我會查看手機上的時間,看看可不可以再多睡十分鐘。」
